Message: The Redemptive Power in the Blood
Minister: Pastor David Kilanko
(1 Pet. 1:18-20) –
“forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,” — Before God made heaven and earth, the blood was foreordained and was to be made manifest and that blood has a work of redemption to do. Nothing else can redeem a soul except that blood. Things we received by tradition from our fathers are strong. If, as a father, you are given to anger and do not yield to the dealing of the spirit to overcome that anger, you will give birth to a child with the same attitude; this is because there is blood at work. If the Lord does not step in, such a child will be angrier than you are because the next generation always takes things in a stronger way.
It is the response to blood that can deliver and redeem. To redeem is to collect back; which means there is a captivity, bondage and stronghold at work. The only thing that can redeem is not a corruptible thing. The blood being made manifest to us in this season is not corruptible; it cannot be corrupted. What can deliver a soul from corruption has to be something incorruptible, because the less is blessed of the better.
The key to our redemption is not self motivation. Tendencies that are written as a code in the blood are things that can’t just be broken free from. It is not about reading books because that is not the pattern in which the nature was formed; our deliverance cannot be tied to a book written by man, it is by the blood of the everlasting covenant. All the speakings we have been hearing so far is for the manifestation of that blood. The Lord is set to do a work of full redemption. Our redemption is our resurrection; it is our being brought up again from the dead like our Lord Jesus (Heb. 13:20–24).
(1 Pet. 1:21) — “who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.” God raised our Lord Jesus from the dead and gave him glory. There can’t be glory without resurrection; no one can come into glory without resurrection. This resurrection is worked by the blood. (Heb. 13:20) — “Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,” — Our resurrection is tied to an everlasting covenant in His blood. Jesus trapped it, and that blood was shed for us.
(Rev. 5:9) — “And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;” — Our redemption is to God. We are being redeemed to God by His blood from every kindred, tongue, people, and nation as seen in the scripture above. So, those who will stand before the throne of God are redeemed men. We might want to cover up certain natures we have by our mental assent, but when pressure comes upon our souls, the real nature will show forth. We can’t take natures traced to natural lineage from a man except by the blood.
God wants to redeem us from our own. ‘Tongues’ as used in the scripture above is not the diction or phonetics spoken, it is the speaking of the soul; it’s in the blood. The blood of everyone speaks; there are many speakings of blood. But God wants to make only one blood speak. God is expecting that the conversation of every soul is a blood that is speaking better things than the blood of Abel (Heb. 12:24).
Abel was a son of God who was obeying faith before it was taught by preachers. His blood spake something then, such that when his brother, Cain, killed him, his blood cried out to God from the earth (Gen. 4:10). He was dead in the natural, but his blood was speaking. He was living because God is not a God of the dead. If God can be attentive to hear a cry, it means the soul is living. Now, we are being taught about a blood that speaks better things than Abel’s blood. That blood is not speaking from the earth but from the heavens; far above the heavens.
There were lightnings and thunderings, but still, Egypt was not shaken out of the souls of the Israelites. Egypt remained intact. The being that worked ‘Egypt’ in the souls of the Israelites, even though he was fallen, his tabrets and workings of God inside of him remained, even though he is using them for his own agenda. This is not to glorify Satan, as he has already been defeated and overcome, but the negative work that he has done has been transferred from generation to generation. The confidence of Satan is that he can trace us to a work he did in a lineage, so if he has dealt with our forefathers, he can deal with someone who was born a few years ago.
The wisdom of heaven is that God will translate us from the power of darkness into the kingdom of His dear Son (Col. 1:13), and at that time, we will have a new lineage, a new surname (Eph. 3:15). The blood is coming to ensure that all natures from natural lineage are thoroughly purged. It is not a small work.
The blood of Jesus is not to be proclaimed over our new car or house. His blood is for us, and the Lord is declaring it this season to ensure that we are separated from every kindred, tongue, people, and nation.
(Rev: 5:10) — “and hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” – The reason why we can’t reign on the earth yet is that there are other kings and priests. In Daniel 10:13, the angel sent to give Daniel understanding was withstood by the prince of Persia. Even though there was a physical king in the days of Daniel, he didn’t know anything about understanding being brought. This means that the real kings are in the spirit, and even that king in the natural was a footstool to make sure their agenda prospers.
The Lord will dethrone all of them this season, and their dethronement is tied to our ascension because a king can’t be raised unless an existing king is dethroned. We must pray to discontinue speaking things that will not make us reign. We must pray to displace kings, principalities, and powers from their reign.
Tongues and Interpretation (1)
We are many, and we have been sent with one singular purpose,
We have been sent by one, even the king supreme that reigneth over all,
He sent us with things to minister,
He said he has many subjects who should receive a kingdom that can’t be shaken,
Many heirs of His life,
Many heirs of His dominion,
Many heirs of His rulership,
He said there are many, and He has sent us many to deliver things that will end the reign of another king.
He has reigned for so long,
For the king supreme has ended the reign of his life,
They want to shake them away,
They want to move them out of your souls,
So they have sent us with things to minister,
For blood will be sprinkled by speaking,
Even the blood of the everlasting covenant with the king supreme,
He said He has many subjects,
Many who will own His dominion,
Many who will reign supreme, above the kingdom and powers of this world,
Many will have dominion, and He seeks to multiply them until the knowledge of the glory of God covers the earth as the water covers the sea.
This is his very intention,
He wants to break you away from a wrong dominion,
Open your hearts,
Make way for the king,
They are for you, His subjects,
Make way for the king.
Tongues and Interpretation (2)
You have varied for too long,
You have been given to turning,
You even have a shadow of turning,
For you are coming into surety,
You are coming into sure light,
Light that can’t be overcome by darkness,
Light that will not give room for darkness,
Light that will not permit darkness,
You have been hidden by a long light,
Even a covering cast, but light has come to reveal that light that is hidden in Christ,
You have been covered by a wrong covering,
For saith the Lord, we have been sent with a good and perfect gift by the Father of lights, to make many lights,
To gather many children of light,
You are children of light, your light should not be dimmed by infirmities; it should shine forth.
There is a harvest of light.
The Lord seeks to illuminate every dark place,
For those who sit in the shadow of death, a great light is appearing.
We have come with many things, many perfect lights, to see that many are raised.
THE END.
