Message: Doing the Wisdom of God through the Power of God

We are on a journey. Our new birth experience, according to John 3:3, was only the beginning of our journey. We must not outgrow the thought that there are people who need to get born again. The beginning of the Christian walk is not just about joining a community of people, but about being born again indeed. That is our legal access to the things of God.
(John 3:3) — “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” — The kingdom is our gate pass to God. Our beginning part in God is to be born again, which can never be downplayed. Being born again came with a lot of goodies and came with its power. Everyone ought to know when we are born again; there is an initial sanctification, there is a level of strength that one will gain to deny certain sins, and there are appetites that will change as a result of the new birth. These days, people get born again and still live their lives the way they used to, and also remain comfortable with unbelievers. The Spirit that quickened our spirit would not permit us to remain the way we used to if we yield to Him.
The essence of being born again is not just to escape hell, but it is a call and an invitation to see the kingdom. Our daddy, Reverend Kayode Oyegoke, mentioned that we have used the wisdom of God, and we are in the season of using the power of God. It’s not just about being born again in our spirit, but the ability to bring that life to our soul. The work that was done in our spirit is a very powerful work. May we not be directional Christians that points Christians to the destination, but never journey to attain.
The blood is not for the spirit; it is for the soul. It is the soul that needs sprinkling, rewriting, and reconstruction. The soul needs great light from the spirit. The soul has dimensions. The soul is composed of the heart and the mind. There are things inside the soul that we don’t even know about; natures and substances in the soul that are passed from one generation to another. In the same way, there are generational traits that are trapped in the body and passed from one generation to another. These things in the soul are natures that the blood wants to take care of.
(1 Cor. 1:24) – “But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.” – The wisdom of God is for the flesh. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit – (John 3:6). The wisdom of God treats flesh because Christ is actually made the wisdom of God.
Wisdom is an instructor. The wisdom of God instructs us regarding what is right and wrong. A powerful man is a man who can do what wisdom instructs. As a church, we are moving into a place of power. We are in a season where the Lord wants to hasten our hearing of wisdom, and for every preaching of the word, we must fetch wisdom. What deals with genetic issues is when we walk differently; and walking differently is obeying the word of God; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled (2 Cor. 10:6). The Lord wants us to live in health so that we can trap all of God.
(1 Pet. 3:10) – “For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:”
The reason for long life is that we receive all the promises of God, which is to get God in the days of our flesh. There is something higher than long life and good days, which is seeing the person of God. The real way we will love life and see good days on the earth is by refraining our tongues from speaking evil and keeping instructions. The more we disobey God, the more empowered and numb we are against God. God regulates our natural goods so that we can grow and be saved. We should always thank God because He is regulating us.
The Lord is raising us as a people who would disrespect vanity by giving us doctrine. Doctrine will equip us and make us tight against the forces of vanity. For instance, when a celebrity comes to our gathering, we should not show respect for persons because of their material wealth (Jam. 2:1-4). We should be a people faster in doing. The essence of the season of the spirit is to make us quick. The realm of the angels is quick; they are not slow. We are slow because some instructions we are given take many years before we obey. Wisdom would always instruct us on what to do.
Power is the ability to do what God has instructed us to do. The Lord wants us to be powerful. Meekness is power. Lowliness is powerful!
Meekness is not the same as gentleness. God wants us to be meek in heart. God wants us to be a people consistently growing in meekness. Wisdom would give us instructions of meekness and lowliness. God comes for the meek and lowly in heart and not for the high and lofty (Isa. 57:15). God teaches us meekness by taking us through circumstances when we are at the end of ourselves. That is why, no matter what you go through, there is a God who can come and take control of the situation if only you align. God is looking for a people who can align with Him, who can do wisdom well.
We were born again to see the Kingdom of God. The food we eat as newborn babes in Christ is for our growth. We begin with feeding on the milk of the word (1 Pet. 2:2). Good milk strengthens the soul to be able to walk in the realm of Christ. The wisdom of God is not given to mere babes. Wisdom is for people who have taken enough milk to stand. There is a whole lot to take from the presence of God. The more we hear wisdom, the more we are empowered. God wants us to be the men and women who are wise in His sight. Milk trains our ears to hear. Milk develops us. Good milk would prepare us and give us a ground to stand and hear God. If you have not drunk milk, you would think the wisdom of God is punishment. It takes power to mount, it takes power to remain. God can be obeyed, and He can be obeyed in our regular activities.
