Message: The Interplay of Law, Blood, Covenant, and Testimony

Minister: Pastor Laide Olaniyan

(Heb. 8:7-9) – The covenant God made with the children of Israel is premised on the covenant He made with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and this was the covenant He made with the fathers. This covenant came before the giving of the law. An agreement was signed before the terms were given. (Jer. 31:31-33) – Covenant is not just blood. It ends with blood, but it starts with laws and commandments. Without giving regard to commandments, the blood itself is just a pigment.

(Psa. 51:6)“Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.” – Truth here are His laws. However, we can’t get this Truth if we have not continued in His word. It’s a journey in the word of God to access it. The knowledge of the truth has not been put in our inward parts yet. We are not supposed to just have the knowledge of Truth, it has to be written and tattooed on our within. The things of a man are written in the inward parts of his belly, with the belly being the soul of the man (Prov. 20:27).

(Phil. 3:19)“Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.” The people whose God is their belly is that they move at the flip of desires or ideas of their unsaved souls. A believer can have his belly as his god. There is no satisfaction in serving God for this man. One of the definitions of a carnal man is a soul that Satan has beaten down so much that his desires, affections, and pleasures are found on earth; he has no pleasure in things that are above. Man was designed for things above. The hope of journeying out of the earth was totally lost in the garden at the fall of man.

(Gen. 6:2) Satan blessed his daughters so much that the Sons of God started desiring earthly pleasure, forgetting everything. It is very possible to get to the junction of marriage & other earthly things and forget things pertaining to Eternal life. You will see souls jettison the trajectory of men because of pleasure or their own desires. As long as what is pleasing your soul is not God, you are pleasing your belly, whether it be a job or anything else. Satan, in his cunning wisdom, knowing we are gullible, allows us some measures of God but also of his own world. (2 Tim. 3:4) In the last days, it is not that men will not love God, but they will be lovers of pleasure more than God. We can love God a little and still love our things, but Satan knows that we cannot serve two masters. The soul loves one above the other. It cannot entertain two loves. You either love one and despise the other or love one and hate the other (1 John 2:15-16, Luke 16:13). Many of us are excited about God, but not able to go all the way with God burning certain bridges, pleasures, and allegiances that are required of us.

We will not prosper in the things of blood if there are things that have not been dealt with or where there is not yet a disregard for vanities and this world. Christ will need to circumcise our hearts enough to purify us from the love of this world (Phil. 3:3). Christ is to cut away certain confidences we have in the flesh. Every man who will come to the corridor of life everlasting must have been here first, where we have no regard for the dainties of Egypt and for the goods of Babylon. Some of us are still serving God with hope for these things, but God will raise us to the point where we will value our shared bond as brethren more than corruptible things. Truth is, if your hands never handle any of the vanities of this life, you have not lost anything. We should have power over these things (1 Cor. 6:12). If God provides these things, enjoy them, but do not lift up your soul to vanity.

We should have more value for the soul that is changing; that is, the growth of men, than the goods that we have acquired. We need to be purified from the confidence in the flesh, even in our dealings with the brethren. What makes us love a particular kind of brother and prefer him to another is because of carnality that we must be purged from.

(1 Cor. 1:21-23) God can demonstrate foolishness, and if you don’t love God for God, you will be confused. We ought to come to Christ for Christ and God for God. Are we truly seeking Christ for who He is and not what He can give? Can we set our eyes on Him and not on the privileges, abundances, and graces? Seasons of abundance and privilege and of abasing and persecutions will come; will you fail in these seasons?

Our taste buds must be circumcised from unholy pleasures, else we will seek things other than God. (Col. 3:1-2)“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” – Our affection is our pleasure center. Pleasure is something that is looked forward to, something that we desire to experience. That faculty of our soul is and should be exclusively reserved for God. We ought to love God so much that we want to see Him in the flesh. This is the same thing that Satan is using for the undoing of man, making him affectionate for carnal, dead desires. Our affection by itself is not bad, but it is where we set it that matters.

(Col. 2:1) The work of circumcision is the cutting away of the flesh. It does a work in man, but this work is not the height of the Father’s laws.

(Heb. 8:9-11) The promise of God being a God to Israel and them being His people is an everlasting work tied to the blood. The order of this covenant is first putting the laws into the mind. The laws here are the precepts and/or commandments of the Father, not of Jesus of Nazareth. (Heb. 9:19) The precept is a clear explanation of every line of the law. The word precept is also commandments, but it is the explanation of the commandments. There are two explanations of the commandments: there is the how, and there is the why. The how is precepts, the why is judgment. It’s possible to know how but not know why or to what end. If we are not shown this, Satan can still cheat us because there’ll be no strength to do/obey it. When light dawns and we begin to see from the sight of God, when we see what happens as a result of our daily disobedience, an urgency comes into our souls. God wants us to grow because we are still very dead and unaware.

The law is a compendium of all of the commandments. Judgment is understanding the interplay of laws or commandments. Judgment makes us understand weightier matters of the law (Matt. 23:23). In the spirit, not all laws carry the same weight; we need judgment to know which one is weightier. Judgment teaches us how to prioritise, to understand the sequence of things. When we don’t have judgment, we end up being confused, not able to appropriate lines, and end up angry with God. Our ability to order our conversation aright and not foul in the spirit shows we are growing in judgment.

There are certain levels of exercise of the mind that are required of us. This is because without judgment, we can’t please God well. A work has to be done inside of us, a change and alteration of our person, because God will not accept us as we are.

(Heb. 9:15) “And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.”

Jesus is the mediator of a better covenant or the New Testament. The word covenant and testament are the same thing in Greek; however, the Bible is not just letters. Covenant is intrinsically different from what a testament is, and both concepts hold valid in the spirit. In an agreement (covenant), there’s a mutual agreement, and that’s what makes it binding. For a testament which is similar to a will, the person on the receiving end is not privy to the information in the testament until the death of the testator (Heb. 9:16-17). Being privy to it beforehand will make it null and void until another one is created. Covenant and testimony are different in their application and expression.

(Heb. 9:17-28) The True Tabernacle is not the present heavens; the True Tabernacle is actually God himself. To be a testator of this pedigree, you have to carry your own blood. Other high priests carried the blood of bulls and goats. Jesus offered His blood for us so that He could purify our own blood, and then we can bring our own blood.

It is appointed for men once to die, and after this, the judgment. “Men” can be generic, referring to all of us, and can also refer to us as individuals.

What they are looking to do is for us to relive all the things that Jesus did. To finish the work that Jesus did, every one of us must receive all of His works, and we don’t receive it by confessing alone but by aligning with the pattern in the Son.

What was done in Jesus first was also the purification of His blood. Many claim that Jesus did not sin because the blood of Joseph did not mix with His. This would be correct if the only problem were blood ties to Adam’s blood through His parents. As we have a genotype, we also have a phenotype, which is a genetic inheritance from the behaviour and culture of our environment. As things are passed down through the blood, there are also environmental influences that cause us to sin.

(Heb. 12:3)“For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.” – Jesus had influences around His life; He had friends who were not disciples. That is why scripture says He was tempted at every point. Jesus was tempted with sin even by His environment. Jesus was a perfect template. To say Jesus was free from the blood of Adam and the influence of sin is to say that He is not touched by the struggles that we go through, which scripture confirms He did.

(Heb. 9:27) “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” – Until we become a testator, that is, the holder of a testament or a witness, we cannot die this death. What is being judged here is the judgment of sin, and what is needed is the death of a testator. God will not allow anyone to be touched if he or she is not yet a testator. The mistake the princes of this world made was that they killed a testator, a holder of testament (1 Cor. 2:8-10).

When we are being taught the law, we are also being raised by the word, but they will also teach us the testimony of Jesus, which is also the testament of Jesus, for us to have it and keep it. Our breakthrough lies in the keeping of His testament. We will not make His testament our own if we are not keepers of His testimony. (Rev. 12:11)“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” – They made the testimony their own before they were killed. It does appear that God allows those who have testament to be killed so that testimony can speak and judgment can come alive.

(John 10:18)“No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.” (John 10:39) “Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,” – Until Jesus was fully raised, heaven kept Jesus from being killed. The real death Jesus dreaded was being without the consciousness of God. Even when His physical frame was failing at the cross, He still had energy to please God, to do will. Anything our soul loves, it has energy for, it savors it.

Tongues and Interpretation (1)

It’s time to sentence things that make you give your strength to iniquity

I will kill iniquity, I will kill even the law of iniquity,

I will go to the root cause of iniquity,

Even things that make your love wax cold

Even things that makes you wax cold in responding to the things of the blood, I will visit their genuinity and their gene to kill them,

I will kill them and begin to spur you towards killing them, even by the blood,

You will hate vanity and things that make you go cold for Jesus, even things that easily beset you, even by the instructions of the blood this season

I will expose things vanity, you will develop hate for things vanity

You will begin to trace the law of death in your soul through the blood and begin to deal with it

It is the season to sentence things that make you go cold for Jesus,

Do not spare iniquity; Love righteousness, and you will hate iniquity automatically

You have not hated iniquity enough because you have not loved righteousness well.

Agree with me, agree on time.

I am not sparing iniquity, and I need you to agree with me,

Agree on time and increase your pace,

Agree quickly to kill your blood,

For the blood is speaking and warring,

War with the blood,

I will not spare iniquity, and I will kill its root cause,

You will begin to see that you don’t have the strength for it again,

For I will cut it down,

Your heavenly Father hates it; you must hate it,

You are not a bastard, you must hate it,

Develop hatred for it,

Even the things that iniquity is using to hold you down, I expose them,

Like an arrow shot into your soul, I will shoot righteousness into you,

Hate it, hold on to righteousness, and its strength will fall,

Even the years that the cankerworm has eaten, the blood will redeem.

Hate it, love righteousness,

For I will expose vanity, and you will see how vain vanity is in your life.

(2 Cor. 4:3) The gospel of Christ was not really hidden; it was obeyed in the wilderness. The gospel that was/is hidden is the gospel of everlasting life. This is the real gospel that men should obey. We cannot come to everlasting life if we have not obeyed Christ. The father’s commandment is a love commandment. Talking about blood is talking about love. In the season of blood, what is preached is what you should love.

(Matt. 10:37-40) The commandments of life everlasting are to expire a love and put another love within us. The end of every commandment is a love walk. (Song of Solomon 8:7) The only thing that can quench love is blood, not water. We need to obey God to the point where they will kill the love of another thing in us until the love of God is born in us through blood (Heb. 12:3-6). Some people don’t want Babylon in them to pass because they have intercoursed their souls with her. They have loved the world, but God will do a work in the heart to hate her. Babylon will not fall until some people begin to hate her (Rev. 17:16).

Tongues and Interpretation (2)

Fervent heat,

I will begin to reveal myself in this season as the consuming fire,

I will put that fire in your bosom,

Even your bosom where the things you love are residing,

I will bring fire to that place,

You will smash even the head of the children of Babylon against a stone,

You will come to violence against iniquity,

I’ll bring violence against things you have lavished affection on,

You will repay Babylon as she has paid you,

She has caused you to do obeisance at the detriment of your ascension,

You will come to vengeance

I am working vengeance, I am working an indignation,

Violence, Fervent heat,

Strangers, even things I have not planted, there is a place where they are hiding,

They will run out with fervent heat,

For heat will visit the crucibles of your soul, even those hiding places of your soul.

You will carry fire in your bosom,

I will come in as a consuming fire,

I will burn anything that is not of me,

You will agree with the burning,

You will stand and watch, you will consent to their burning,

They will burn to ashes,

I want to bring beauty out of you, but there must first be ashes,

There must first be a burning, then true beauty will arise,

For you have not known love, it’s a lie you have known,

You have burnt your affection on things that don’t satisfy,

You have spent your money on things that do not edify,

I am changing the narrative,

I am coming as the consuming fire, I will put that fire in your bosom,

I will open you into a new door, an access into true love, into the real meaning of love

I am love indeed and should be the object of your affection,

I cannot share you with another, I am jealous for your soul,

For I made your soul.

You are mine; another has struggled with me for too long,

I will bring you to a place of love that will make you consent to the burning down of any other thing that has struggled for your affection,

You cannot serve two masters; it is impossible.

I did not make you able to serve two masters.

It is either God or God,

You have no other options but to serve God,

I am opening a door into true service of God, and it’s in spirit and in truth,

But first, you will carry fire in your bosom

It will consume every other channel and pathway that your affection goes through, and every of your affections will come only to me.

I am the consuming fire; I will give you my fire.

Tongues and Interpretation (3)

Stand aside, hold your peace,

Trust that even though the chastening for the present time doesn’t seem joyous, there is a peaceable fruit of righteousness that I want to work out and it is only for those who are exercised by it,

Allow me to do my work,

For indeed, I am not against your soul

The thoughts I have towards you are of good and not evil,

I have an expected end in my mind,

O that you will trust me for I am not against your soul but against the things that have held your soul bound and made it unacceptable,

Even things that make you have faults before my very throne,

Those are the things I am against,

They are not your life; you have only defined your life by them, but they are not your life.

For your life is hid in Christ and I will make it appear, but you will have me judge that which you have already called your life and made a refuge, habitation and a covering,

They are not your covering,

I want to undo them and clothe you with my own life, but allow me,

Stand aside, hold your peace,

Allow me to do my work,

I want to utterly consume the enemy but I can’t have you standing in my way,

For I am not an enemy of your soul,

I want to bring you to uttermost salvation and to do that I will judge the things that your soul has used as covering,

I want to remove them, I will bring nakedness that I might bring a covering,

I have sprinkled and i will sprinkle again Blood till it enters your soul and judges every other life, and bring you to a place where you love not your life until that life dies,

For my life is supposed to be your life, that is the order, that is how it was meant to be in the beginning,

I will judge every other life,

Even the one you have held as yours,

Many say ‘this is how I am’, No! That is not how you are, I made you and I bring definition to you,

Allow me to remove every other contamination and misrepresentation of your life and bring my own life.

Stand aside, hold your peace and let me bring judgment even to every other life.

THE END.
