Message: The Mystery of Spiritual Development

Minister: Reverend Helen Oyegoke

We are a people on a journey and our journey is meant to end us in God. This is the original intention of God for man. God made a man He could fellowship with but Satan drove men far away from God. It was God’s intention to make man in His image and likeness and cause Him to sit with Him on His throne. (Psa. 8:4-5, Gen 1:26). Satan had rebelled in His own estate and wanted men to whom God created for His own pleasure to join him in his fallen estate. The devil wants to dominate man. He wants a kingdom of his own.

All heaven is the realm of dominion but there is this realm of God’s dominion that is exclusive to God that man was created to partake of. The destiny or end of man is to become better than angels, better than everything created but our enemy came and pushed men far from God.

All heaven is declaring over us now is that we come up hither. In our sojourning on earth, God wants us to come up to heaven, right here on earth. What brings pleasure to God is that a man in the days of his flesh trapped all of heaven. What was trapped previously in our souls is all of hell and we see these expressions even in the church. Evil spirits brought those conversations from hell and taught man. We see a conversation of hell in relating with one another because we have trapped hell in the soul.

Satan did not just kill man, he taught him what he had become, even the conversation of hell. (Ezek. 28:12-15) Satan was created good with the substances of heaven but not the heaven we are being called to. He corrupted his wisdom, he turned it to iniquity.

Man was in the beginning created with substances of the earth but in the garden where he was planted, God gave man the privilege to rise up from earth and come up to the heavens where God is through the tree of life because the substances in the tree of life are the substances of God. (1 Cor. 15:47) “The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.” – Man was not meant to remain on the earth. It is an anomaly for a man to remain earthy. God wants us to be uncomfortable remaining earthy.

(1 Cor. 2:7)“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:” – God wants us to be full of His wisdom; the wisdom that gives life/delivers glory. We cannot be glorified without that wisdom. We can’t be perfect in beauty and in operations without being full of wisdom. (Prov. 3:19, Prov. 8:22-24, Luke 2:40). The realm of God is the realm of wisdom. We were ordained to be a being of wisdom. These are the days we need to be wise because it is that wisdom we will use to defeat our enemy (Psa. 119:98). Our enemies are beings of wisdom. Satan was fabricated with wisdom. Our Lord Jesus is also a being of wisdom.

Wisdom is profitable to direct. Jesus was busy acquiring wisdom because God operates in wisdom.

(Acts 6:3)“Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.” – There is a participation from us that is required for us to be full of the Holyghost. As He leads, guides and instructs, the measure of the Holy Ghost we have increases. We receive the Holy Ghost in a measure but the measure can increase as we yield to His teachings. These men yielded to the Apostles’ doctrine – milk (Acts 2:42). Our level of yielding determines our measure/how quickly we will grow and change. Many times we waste time to become what God is saying. Some are quick to obey while some rationalise before they obey.

Jesus received the Holy Ghost without measure because He had stature to receive it but for us when we got baptised with the Holy Ghost we could only receive Him in a measure. The Apostles had to pick from those who were full of the Holy Ghost. We ought to pray for God to increase our capacity to yield in obedience to His instructions. It takes yieldedness to increase in stature.

(1 Cor. 1:23-24)“But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.” – You can’t claim to know Christ and you are not wise. When we are learning Christ, we are learning wisdom. (1 Cor. 1:21) The world also has its own wisdom. It takes men away from the knowledge and life of God.

There is the wisdom of Christ and the wisdom of this world. It takes a man who is wise to relate with the seeming foolishness of God. A man full of the wisdom of the world will see God’s judgement as foolishness. The things of God look very foolish but it is wisdom.

A man must not lack wisdom. What God trusts is His wisdom in us. The enemy we combat was raised by wisdom and he used his corrupted wisdom to drive men far from God (1 Cor. 1:21). Jesus was raised with a superior wisdom higher than that of the enemy. This is the wisdom we ought also to be raised with to combat our enemy.

The enemy of the world has used strange wisdom on the world. (Prov. 24:3) “Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:” We cannot separate building from wisdom.

(1 Cor. 1:30) – “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:” We need wisdom to gather righteousness and sanctification. The more of Christ we are, the more wisdom we have and the more positioned we are to deal with the enemy. A wise person is the one that can escape death. Evil spirits will fight every man who wants to rise up. Every evil spirit fighting our ascension at every level fights us with corrupted wisdom; with wiles.

Christ men can be trusted because they have been fortified with the wisdom of the Spirit. The wisdom of Christ helps us to defeat the wisdom of principalities and powers, those who perpetuate the laws of sin and death (Eph. 6:12).

(1 Cor. 2:6-8)“Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.”

There is another wisdom that is meant for men who has been built by Christ doctrine, that is, charity men/perfect men. (1 Cor. 1:30) It is by our yielding or obedience that Christ is made or revealed unto us. What is given to perfect men is hidden wisdom. This is because with the level of wisdom they have, there are some spirits they cannot yet confront so they require another wisdom; a higher wisdom.

The wisdom of princes comes to nought (1 Cor. 6:6). (Prov. 8:15-16)“By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. 16 By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.” – Wisdom is a necessity for man. Reigning and ruling is tied to wisdom.

God doesn’t relate with us according to our smartness. He relates with us according to our heart. Wisdom is not the same as being smart. Wisdom makes you careful, makes you cautious. With excessive smartness, you can spoil things. God is raising us with wisdom because He has an enemy to deal with. It was wisdom Jesus used with Pilate.

Meekness and lowliness are wisdom. Satan’s wisdom is highmindedness and elevation.

Wisdom was ordained before the world began. There is no coming to glory without wisdom. There is no building without wisdom. Wisdom is brought to us by commandment and it is meant to make us wiser (not smarter) than our enemies.

(James 3:17)“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.” – A wise person is peaceable, a wise person is gentle. For us to be peace makers, we must be ready to give up our rights. A smart person is not focused on being peaceable. (James 3:13-16) We can’t separate meekness from wisdom. A wise person is a meek person.

The wiser you become, the quicker you are to refrain or run away from evil. We escape Satan by wisdom. Satan wants to stay in our hearts and find expression.

Our values have to be changed by knowledge and understanding of God. Growth will show in demonstration of wisdom, in conversation of life. What makes us grow is the change in our values by reason of wisdom. One thing we must do is to be quick to quench the motions of sin in us when they rise deliberately. Wisdom will instruct us on how to come out of that motion of sin stirring up on our inside.

Many of us give ourselves to the wisdom of Satan that is destructive, we are not wise when we do so. This is why we see fights in churches, christians being used by Satan to tear down the work of God because they are not wise.

(Eph. 5:27) “That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” – Jesus will not come for a foolish church. A glorious church is a wise church.

(James 3:11-13) A wise man is not rude nor does he do things carelessly. (Eph. 4:13) The man who has the full measure of Christ is a heavenly man. Our stature determines our placement in the heavens. Stature rules in the heavens. Stature is determined by obedience. Growth cannot occur without obedience. Jesus was filled with wisdom. We cannot be filled with what we don’t cooperate with. Jesus gave Himself to growing, to pleasing the Father (John 8:29). (Luke 2:40) God wants us to grow and wax strong in the spirit filled with wisdom at all levels – wisdom of the Holy Ghost, of Christ, and of God. This is what will give God pleasure.

Tongues and Interpretation 1

Saith the Lord, I have poured from a jar that I myself have filled,

Even with my wisdom.

I filled this vessel, even my handmaiden with wisdom,

With the secret of overcoming

With the secret of ascension

Even with the secret of coming into estates in me

There are levels, there are estates and access to each level is wisdom.

For you see, in this jar I have poured many levels and I will yet pour.

I have poured from that jar

For I myself I’m a cruise of oil that will not fail

And I want to raise many with wisdom overflowing.

For you see, your adversary has some wisdoms,

A negative overflowing scourge to sweep many off their feet.

But I will pour many wisdom on you

You will be flowing with wisdom

You will smell of wisdom

The fragrance of your life will be a high wisdom,

High wisdom that is a repellant for evil spirits.

It will repel spirits that want to keep you on earth.

Earth is not your destination.

I want to bring you up and you will climb on the ladder of wisdom.

And I will fill you from my jar yet again, and I will seal you.

For you will carry my precious things and I will cover it.

They will not escape.

You will trap them for I want to make you a sure one — sure in wisdom,

Too sure for the gates of hell to prevail.

After I have filled you,

I will crown you

I will seal you

I will make you sure.

Saith the Lord.

THE END.
