Thanksgiving by coming into the Testimony of Jesus

Dec 7, 2025

Date: 7th December, 2025
Message: Thanksgiving by coming into the Testimony of Jesus

Minister: Pastor Tayo Fasan

One of the things we are doing today is thanking God for all that has happened, but much more for things that have happened that we don’t know. His works have different expressions depending on where a soul is or where God is delivering a soul from. Some of the testimonies are about how God has been faithful in our natural life. God sometimes in wisdom doesn’t answer prayers when we want them answered and this is still consistent with His mercy. God consults with the wisdom of salvation before answering our prayers or leaving them unanswered.

What the Lord is doing in this season is that the addition God wants to bring our way is delayed because we are lacking in hunger and thirst for righteousness which is a requirement for the kingdom. The way to get what we want earlier is to give attention to the kingdom (Matt. 6:33).

God finds a window of opportunity in the natural to add age to us in the spirit or in righteousness. God bears witness to the message that when what we are expecting is delayed we can still be faithful. God wants us to add patience to our faith, to suffer long (2 Pet. 1:5-7).

We didn’t grow like Jesus grew nor do we have his age. So, God is always looking for opportunities to bridge that gap in our spiritual age. Sometimes, the trials we will face is for the word of the Lord to try us. Children are not tried because the word has not come to them yet (Psa. 105:19). They will begin to number their age and apply their heart to wisdom for to be tried (Psa. 90:12). God looks forward to situations to try us so that an age in righteousness can be added to us. God’s wisdom is to empower us to take our eyes off things and look up to the Lord. Whenever we do that, we are living by faith or judging by righteousness and addressing the deficiency of age in the spirit.

A question we must ask ourselves is do we have bread and water and use them to live by the faith of the Son of God? When we do, it means we have come of age in Christ (Gal. 2:20). The giving of Himself is the giving of the word and testimony, after coming to Zion through Faith, Hope and Charity. Zion is a place we land, a place we meet with the Father.

(Col. 3:12)“Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;” – These are what we must live by daily for Christ to be seen in us. Ephesians 2:6 is what makes the nature of our spirit in Christ. For us to be Christ in our soul, Colossians 3:12 has to be our conversation or lifestyle daily. The same way we don’t forget some things about ourselves is the same way we should think about others. There is a count of believers we are meant to address our indebtedness of charity towards.

We must have investments in the life of brethren (Gal. 6:10). The Holy Spirit speaks to us through scriptures. Picking thoughts of righteousness towards our brethren is an act of righteousness (1 Thes. 1:3). One way to give thanks to God is to be mindful of someone’s need (2 Cor. 9:11). When we are indifferent towards the thoughts of the needs of our brethren, heaven will not be happy with us. When we distribute natural goods to our brethren, we are hitting back at the world.

Tongues and Interpretation 1

Saith the Lord, for my bowels of compassion has no locks

Mercy constrains me, I can’t shut them

I am bringing my thoughts to you to break off the locks on your bowels of compassion

I want them to be impossible to be shut off

I will show you the needs of my brethren

I will show you needs that I have engraced you to meet

I will work on your bowels first, I am undoing the locks

I want to bring you to a large place, that your soul will be large, your soul will be accommodating

So, I will enlarge your bowels first to look to the needs of others.

You cannot mind your own things well if you have not been mindful of the things of others.

You will look to the things of others

It my wisdom of salvation

It is how I will save you to the uttermost, even to be mindful of others

Charity seeketh not her own

I want you to come to that place where you don’t seek your own but you seek my kingdom, even the joy and prosperity of your brethren

I will fulfill my end of the bargain and supply grace, ye I have already given you resources

I will judge the locks on your compassion, on your bowels.

I will judge the narrowness of your mind

I will bring you to that place where your heart is enlarged for I have many people I want to put there.

Message continues..

As important as our needs are, there are other things that are more needful. We need the dominion called the grace of faith to rise above the limitations of this world. To have that grace, we must lay down what we once called life. What is in us cannot coexist with what God wants to give us. When God can collect what we once called life which is actually sin and death, then can He give us of His own life. It is by the grace of faith we relate with the labour market for example. We become better stewards of our salary through this grace. We ought to use our income to serve selfless causes and meet the needs of the saints. As we yield to instructions of righteousness, the grace rearranges our nature and brings addition.

A soul should be able to comfortably rely on words the way we have previously relied on salary or money. God wants to raise examples of those who have brought faith to the flesh (Rom. 4:1). In Romans 8:28, “them” are those who are precious stones in Zion. They place a premium on faith. They are those who have not seen but yet believe. We need a recreated spirit for what God wants to give to man.

(1 Cor. 2:9)“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” – We need to be a new creation to see these things. The reason we are hearing the word of Christ is to be made “them”.. These are they who will begin to hear the speakings of the wisdom of God (1 Cor. 2:6-16). Our soul also has to be in Zion where our spirit was raised to. Colossians 3:12 are conversations we fetch from the Spirit of Christ, they are what we call a new spirit and we must have them. Kindness here is being kind to someone undeserving of it. These are conversations in Christ. It will be difficult to relate with word and testimony when we haven’t fellowshipped with the spirit of Christ.

Thanksgiving to Jesus must be daily. How do we thank Jesus? By showing men Christ through our life. This is how we thank Him. We don’t need to wait until we kneel to pray to the Lord before we can please the Lord, our life during the day is expected to have been lived for the Lord. The Lord must deal with that religious mentality of waiting to kneel physically before the Lord to fellowship or please Him.

We are the only ones that can determine the duration of our growth. The Lord has made it in a way that our growth lies in our hands. You are the only one standing in your way of knowing the things that are freely given to us (1 Cor. 2:12).

The memory verse recited by the children in today’s ministration must be read again in the life of their parents and elderly ones for them to come into the understanding of the scripture. We must model Christ among our children. The drama displayed by the children was exposing flesh and to deal with flesh, we must know the things that have been freely given to us. To deal with flesh, we need to have more than Christ because flesh is a beastly nature. Those who will disarm children of those tendencies and nature displayed during the drama session are Sons of the Living God. Children must see us hope for glory and come into the tangibility of it.

(Gen. 5:6) “And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:”

(Luke 1:18) “And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.”

There is an age parents ought to have before getting married but God then begins to add that age in marriage when that is lacking. The reason for dealings is to disarm those things in the flesh and God does this through leading. It isn’t safe to give birth when men have not trapped faith. Many of us begat without living. (Proverbs 22:6, Ps.139:24) To know the way, something must enter our hearts. What we are hearing is meant to give us the nature we need that we should have had before giving birth.

(Eph. 6:13) – “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” – When you haven’t done faith, hope and charity, you can’t bear the armour to stand against the evil day. Charity is the proof that you are free from flesh.

The evil day is already around. Evil day produces sons, so must sons unto God be raised. God is preparing us for a walk that will enable us to generate some heavenly conversations in the coming year. To show our gratitude to our parents, we need to do heavenly conversations.

The same way our body needs oxygen is the same way our soul needs the stature that Jesus had at Jordan. Like David, we must not give rest to our soul, nor sleep to our eye lid. We must remain restless, until we give God rest (Prov. 6:4). (John 16:33) Trouble will end when we have given God rest, and are instrumental to the fall of Satan.

(Exo. 20:5-6) “Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.”

God wants to model conversation in generations; to prove to man that righteousness can be perpetuated. One of our daily thanksgiving must be for the gift of Pastor Laide, the angel of the church, because there are things the Lord wouldn’t say to the entire church, but to the angel of the church. One of our daily thanksgiving also must be for the gift of Christ in us.

(2 Pet. 3:4-5)“And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:” – It is the spirit of antichrist that chooses to be willingly ignorant of the work being done. When God does a work in a man, He wants you to acknowledge that work. When men fight it, they are trying to say they don’t acknowledge Jesus and the works done in Jesus.

(1John 2:22-23) – “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.”

To deny that Jesus is Christ is to deny the work He is doing in man, and how He is raising Christ in them. People that make these claims carry the spirit of antichrist, but we must have the spirit of Christ.

It takes the Son and the Father to raise a Living Son of God. One of our thanksgiving this year is that we were fed by the Father of light and are being raised by the Father of light. The least amongst us should be a ‘little children’

(Exo. 20:5-6, 2 Pet. 3:15) We have to endure the suffering to the end for us to be saved and all things are what must be given to us to fully endure this. If iniquity can be moved to the third and fourth generation, then righteousness can be moved to the third and fourth generation. God wants for our children to also say this day is scripture fulfilled in me. God wants little children also to come unto Him (Matt. 19:14). He wants children to come into things greater than what their parents came into.

(Rom. 3:11) – “There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.”Truthfully, unless God regulates our lives, none of us will seek Him. Some of the unanswered prayers were to keep us in the path or redirect our path. This is why we call ourselves unprofitable. None of us can claim we did anything to be worthy of His glory (1 Cor. 1:29).

There is hope, but we can’t find this hope in Nigeria’s economy or in what is being said in the news. Our hope is in scriptures and this is why we can disagree with what any other hope is painting as hope for tomorrow (Matthew 11:29)

(2 Cor. 10:5-6) – “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

And having in a readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”

Our transaction with the dealings of God is how disobedience will be avenged. The disobedience being referred to here is flesh, and that which must be used to counteract it is Christ. Those who are carrying a measure of glory now paid a price. Yes, we can be attracted to the revelations of our parents but much more our interests should be in getting the secrets behind the way of life and the person of those who God has helped greatly, which is the Son of the Living God, and their conversation. We can meditate on the conversations of their life and desire to own them also. We should be able to pick the spirits of our parents in the Lord, covet them and own them.

One thing that must be said about us is that we are not known in the flesh. 5 years should not have passed over us and we have not changed. We must also pay the price that our Fathers paid to become Fathers. By following our Pastors, we follow those they follow indirectly. (Hebrews 6:12)

(Genesis 6:12) – “And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.” – There are many things to preach that our life is not yet in alignment with. We need to know and walk in His ways first. What does it mean to be a man of ways? We must seek these ways. We need ways to live in the evil days. His ways are God’s standards and when men corrupt it, an evil day is birthed.

(Psa. 25:14) – “The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.”Secrets here are His word and testimony. Them that fear Him are those that love Him. This fear is borne out of using menorah light. We must strive to not live without this secret.

(Rev. 2:24) – “But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.” – The same way some people will know the depths of Satan, likewise, there are men who are already knowing the depths of God. Satan is looking to find vessels of destruction who He can pour himself into.

(Ezek. 37:27) For God to have become their God, a disobedience was avenged, they had been disarmed of a nature. Once a man comes into the spirit of Christ, God has avenged that disobedience. Once a nature of disobedience has been displaced in a man, disobedience has been avenged.

(1 Tim. 3:15) – “But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.”

Timothy was someone who had handled to a measure the life that now is and is to come so He was able to handle this instruction Paul was giving to him. Paul in this scripture was talking about higher conversation that takes place in the soul of those who have ascended to heaven; amidst those who do heaven. Paul had the law of Christ in him that caused some conversation to become natural in him. He had a new heart and a new spirit from obeying the law of Christ. It is by doing these conversations that we also can come to say like Paul ‘I delight in the law of God’.

Charity is not yet natural to us because the spirit of Christ is not yet a possession of ours. How to please heaven and thank God every day in 2026 is to allow the Father to find a footstool in our lives. The only way the Son of God can land in our heart is when we have a heart disposition that is built over time by what the Lord is saying to us. These men will have an open door set before them because they have profited with words and testimony. These men will have the book opened to them.

(1 Peter 2:10) This mercy is the perpetuating of righteousness to the next generation. (1 Pet. 5:1-2) Righteousness has been perpetuated in the days of John. The flock of God here were the next generation. This scripture was being written from a Father to Fathers, to young men and to little children. Righteousness had extended into the 4th generation.

(1 Pet. 2:11-12) – “Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.” Dearly beloved are those that love God, they are those who have put on the conversations in Colossians 3:12, they are those who all things work together for their good. The Saints and Patriarchs of Hebrew had the word and testimony.

We must know the church that we are in and of what generation we are. (Heb. 11) Every generation has an activity of the word and testimony. The strength to keep faith till the end is fetched from testimony and being able to keep faith till the end is our good report. (Heb 13:14) By their conversation, they condemned the world.

God will demand of us a greater conversation than what brought us to Zion. He will desire of us to be an example to our generation. Once He can successfully make us an example, to make us take our faith to the uttermost, this is how we condemn the world and God’s work is done in us. God wants us to model everlasting righteousness. Little children must grow into young men and young men into Fathers by our conversation.

There is an activity of mercy over us. There is a mercy that raises little children, one that raises young men and that which raises Fathers. In the coming years, God will look at some of us and not be ashamed to be called our God. He will look to us and see the same works He has done in Reverend Kayode and Mummy Helen, in Pastor Emeka and Pastor Lilian Egwuchuwkwu in us.

We must be so focused on finishing our course. We all have an appointment and it is to finish our course with joy. God will successfully raise in us countless examples just like with the Patriarchs in Hebrews 11. Many times we are the ones delaying God’s judgment upon the wickedness in the world. God needs to help us discern the secrets and conversations that will help us archive what will make us pillars in our generation.

THE END.
