TOPIC: Faith for Healing

MEMORY TRACK:

In our last lesson, we made an attempt to trace the origin of sicknesses and diseases. We, through God’s grace, answered certain questions concerning sicknesses and diseases, showing that all sicknesses and diseases are of and from the devil and his cohorts. And that it is God’s great desire to heal and make us His Children free from sicknesses and diseases, Hallelujah!

For the purpose of simplicity and stirring faith in our hearts, enough to go for and lay hold on healing that is provided for us in the word, we are going to be looking at Faith for Healing (bodily healing). The truth is, there is such thing as Faith for Healing/Faith to Be Healed (Acts 14:9).

TYPES OF BIBLE FAITH AND THEIR PURPOSE

There are different types of Faiths in the Bible and each of these Faiths have their unique specie, and what they are designed to do/actualize/work in a Saint. Below are some of the Faiths in the scriptures;

1. Milk Faith: this is everything in the beginning Faith (Hebrews 5:13). Inside the Milk Faith we have many types of faith, with each Faith being generated by some type of word. For example, there’s faith for repentance (which is generated in the heart by the preaching of an aspect of the milk, that produces in the heart conviction and sorrow for to repent). Another Faith in the milk is Faith for finances, and another is Faith for to be healed (Acts 14:9). The Lord Jesus Christ raised many ministers to teach different aspects of these Faiths in the Milk allocation of the word.
2. Faith of The Meat/Gospel of Christ (Faith that raises/builds up the soul; Acts 26:18).
3. Faith of The Strong Meat/Gospel of The Father and God (Faith that saves the soul; 1st Peter 1:9)

Some things to know and note about the Faiths for healings

• Faith for healings hath been even before Jesus Christ Our Lord showed up (Elisha and Naaman, 2nd Kings 5).
• Quite a handful of People were healed through the ministry of Jesus in the times of His earthly ministry by Their faith!
• As a matter of fact, this faith can be in operation even while a person is not born again (their spirits are not regenerated), Acts 14:5-9; Matthew 9:22
• This Faith is anchored on simple Faith and trust in God (in many cases in words spoken by the Servants of God, or in ministers of the gospel Themselves). Elisha and Naaman are classic examples of this. Jesus Our Lord had a lot of people healed in these manner (the Centurion, Syrophoenician Woman, Woman with the issue of blood etc.).

Characteristics and Traits of Faith for Healings, and How to Get Them:

• You don’t need to have a good knowledge of the word to take a hold of this faith. Truth be told, a person doesn’t need a very strong or deep knowledge of God’s word to have and operate this faith (Woman with the issue of blood).
• This Faith sprouts in the heart through meditation on God’s word until it gets into the heart (place of being convinced; Matthew 9:20 (Amplified translation)). DO YOU HAVE HEALTH CONDITIONS THAT YOU ARE WANTING GOD TO HEAL YOU FROM, BEGIN TO NOTE THEM DOWN, BECAUSE WE WILL, IN THE COURSE OF THIS SERIES, PRACTICALLY THROUGH WAITING UPON GOD’S WORD, BELIEVE GOD FOR TO BE HEALED.
• Faith of The Meat/Gospel of Christ (Faith that raises/builds up the soul; Acts 26:18)
• Faith of The Strong Meat/Gospel of The Father and God (Faith that saves the soul; 1st Peter 1:9)
• Faith for healings hath been even before Jesus Christ Our Lord showed up (Elisha and Naaman, 2nd Kings 5).
• This Faith produces results when STEPS OF FAITH ARE TAKEN in belief, trusting God to produce the desired results (Mark 5:25-34).
