Date: 2nd November 2025

Theme: Pray Ye the Lord of the Harvest; The Believers’ Life of Prayer

Topic: Prayer of Casting your Cares

Interpretation of Tongues (1)

I am bringing and showing the pattern and measurement,

I am bringing materials that will bring about the raising of my ark; for this ark is for the saving of souls,

For nothing else will be able to stand against the floor that the adversary wants to bring, save the ark,

I am crafting and building by words and resources I’m bringing,

It is to raise a standard; for the enemy wants to come like a flood but I’m raising a standard,

The spirit of God is the ark; for the saving of many souls,

I will push many into the ark for I am jealous of salvation,

The building of this ark is tied greatly to your prosperity in the place of prayers,

He that calleth upon the name of the Lord shall come into ark, so I give you skill and authority in the place of prayer,

I give you strength and consistency; you will no longer be tossed to and fro in the place of prayer, but you will have stability,

You will go on your knees and win battles, you won’t stand up hastily in the place of prayers but I’ll give you staying power, to pray and to stay,

You will pray your way into the ark and I will push you inside,

Many will pray and enter the ark,

Where your strength ends, mine will continue,

You need to win the warfare to enter into the ark,

I will teach you and show you what it means to stay and pray,

I will build this ark to finishing,

You will pray and get to the door and I will push you in,

I am building and raising an ark,

Can you hear the rumblings?; for there is a wicked flood coming,

I will raise my standard against that flood and many will be saved.

Interpretation of Tongues (2)

Many Omo emi,

For I will raise many of the children of the Holy Ghost,

I will fan the flame of my spirit again within many,

The fuel for this is my water; I will bring water for many and you will drink plenty water,

And it will bring flame, many ghosted ones,

The reason you are falling to snares and traps is because you are not ghosted for if you were, you will be like a bird in the sight of snares,

I want to raise many, who will be trained by the Holy Ghost, they will be fervent in the spirit,

Many will be built up in the most holy faith; building unto edification,

There are many areas where he has set traps,

I will show to you in the place of prayer,

The more you speak to me, I will speak to you,

You must see areas where he has set a trap in your family, among the brethren, your career,

I will speak and show you many things to come,

Many will be born of the spirit,

I want to birth many by my spirit again,

You are all houses of prayer, begin to live unto expectation,

You must speak one to another continually and you must speak to me,

I will speak to you and show you things,

Even things that the enemy thinks are secret, I’ll show them to you.

MESSAGE STARTS

The Prayer of casting your cares upon the Lord is different from the prayer of faith. For the prayer of faith, we hold unto the promises of God in the place of prayer, but for casting our cares, we tell the Lord as we feel, trusting His fatherly operations. This is a prayer we should pray especially when we have burdens or knotty situations that are troubling our minds. It’s an act of throwing something forceful unto the Lord.

(Psalm 55:22) “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved”

It’s a prayer of trust. A key element in this kind of prayer is trust, because if we don’t trust the Lord, we will not cast our cares upon Him. We should be eager to trust the Lord, for indeed He cares. He indeed has serious interest and has so much importance on us and on our burden.

(Jer 29:11) “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”.

God has good thoughts towards me! I should be able to commit my life fully into His hands, knowing that He has an expected end for me.

(Isaiah 26:3) “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee”.

For us to come into peace, we have to trust God first. So let’s cast our cares upon him so we can experience the peace only God gives.

The prayer of agreement is when two or more people come together to pray, because there might be a deficit in someone’s faith or because the matter being prayed about is really weighty. There is something each of our brethren has to supply in bringing answers from God. We should learn to surround ourselves with serious Christians we can trust to share the burden of the Lord with. The truth is, the Lord is there when we come together to pray. Scriptures say that where two and three are gathered together, He is in their midst.

Also, in prayer of agreement, every party involved must be of one mind and one spirit, and in agreement towards the burdens of prayers. Note that, the prayer of agreement can be prayed in prayer of supplication, prayer of faith and prayer of intercession. In cases where we feel we do not have faith, let’s look for brethren and hold hands with them so as to be strengthened. Prayer of agreement is actually a prayer, and not agreeing in wishing.

If the prayer of one righteous man avails much, and if the prayer of agreement, with two or three gathering together, then how much more congregational prayer? This prayer is powerful, imagine everyone in a congregation, with their various strengths of faith, stature, and even their angels coming together to pray concerning a matter? God will definitely answer. Even during worship, when we come together to worship God dwells! A sweet thing about congregational prayer is that it unites everyone.

Again, if one shall chase a thousand and two shall chase ten thousands, how much more shall a congregation put to flight?

When corporate prayers are going on, we are not supposed to keep mute or pray silently, rather, we are supposed to pray out loud, because the strength of our voice can strengthen the people who hear us to also pray well.

ROUNDOFF BY PST. NIYI OTUNAIKE

Many don’t fully understand the relationship between a Father and his child. If we understand how much of a Father that God is to us, we won’t tell an outsider once something happens to us when we can turn to God immediately.

We must be assured of the love that God has for us and not see it like an African parent kind of love. God loves us and we must understand this. Sometimes, we belittle Him and forget that He has the power to do things. As believers, we must have this knowledge.

It is not for us to worry or take thoughts, but to cast them upon the Lord. We should let the love that God has for us to overshadow our hearts and minds. It is not about what we do, it is a nature in Him. He doesn’t condone sin but He loves us. He wants us to live a righteous life but even when we were yet sinners, our Lord Jesus loved us and gave Himself for us.

He wants us to cast our cares on Him and we should learn to automatically direct them to Him.

The essence of brethren sharing burdens with each other is not to compare their problems or see who has a bigger problem but to agree in the place of prayers. Prayer of agreement is not a five minutes prayer; it can be an hour, two hours; it can be an intercession or supplication for someone or something else entirely. It can take as long as the answer needs to come and it can also be shorter. We should be able to approach our brother or sister to pray together. We should pray together as believers.

To fully participate in congregational prayers, we should make sure to be available to prayers by 8am. This prayer session is not just to fill in the gap but a time to pray and generate power. If the prayer of a man can be effective, how much more the prayer of the whole congregation.
