Message Begins

One of the resolutions we must make is that we are aliens, Hebrews 13:14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come”.

When we hear the word being preached, sometimes we agree with it, but then another thought comes up asking, ‘Who then can be saved?‘ (Luke 18:26-27). We are sometimes discouraged when we see the standards of the Word, and they seem too high to attain, but just know that the standards of God cannot be achieved by whatever capacity that we have.

We have struggles; we believe that here we have no continuing city, yet we still have things holding us down and questions. We see scriptures come alive to us

Psalm 119:25 “My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word” talks about a state of the heart. To cleave means to be one with something (Genesis 2:24). Cleaving is a kind of agreement and vital connection. The soul loves dust. It shows some kind of affinity, connection, and love. The dust represents the earth, representing the things that hold us here, which hinder us from ascending. We love dust, and some of the dust we love was actually given to us by God. We, however, love the dust more than God that gave it to us, because if we loved God more than the dust, then we would know that we have no continuing city here. There’s something about the earth that we must understand: God wants to disconnect us from it. In his cry, the psalmist cries, “Quicken thou me according to thy word.” “Quicken” means to revive the soul by bringing us back to life through the word of God. To quicken us by the word is to cut us off from dust. Sometimes, when the soul is quickened, we still want to go back to dust, and this is a warfare we must fight, and the good thing is that we are hearing the word that can quicken us.

TONGUES AND INTERPRETATION (2)

Dust will not give you up without a fight

That is why I am giving you might to fight to shake off dust

Shake off dust

I am giving you might to stay

To stay under the fountain that can wash your soul off dust

Dust is to spot you,

To leave you with spot

To keep you here

For you see, even the world knows it is passing away and its content

Fight not to remain even in the things that are passing

He that keepeth my words abideth forever

You should last more than dust

You should last beyond here

I will begin to wean you from the things that have kept you

From the things your soul has so much had affection for

And I would begin to make you look up

Set your affections on the things above

Look up

There is corruption here

There are things here that steal

I don’t want you to be corrupt,

I don’t want you to pass away,

I don’t want you to be plundered away

For you hold a very precious possession

Your soul is worth more than anything dust can give

Fight for your soul

Lay hold on what truly matters;

Eternal life.

Psalm 119:26I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes

The way for the soul to be helped out of dust is to be quickened by the word of God. The word that quickens is sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). The kind of word God is committing to us shows us the way we are. It brings issues we didn’t know we had to light, so we can repent. A soul that can declare its ways is a heart that is responding to the word and its quickenings. To declare your ways starts from agreeing that we are different from the Lord. Salvation starts from realizing that your ways are completely different from the ways of God. After this, he asks that the Lord teach him His statutes.

Ezekiel 43:10-11 “10 Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern. 11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them”

In showing the house, we see that it has its dimensions, patterns, and stature. The house is the full stature of the Lord. The house will reveal our iniquity and shame. Measuring the house shows where we are falling short. To get the exact measurements, they expect some kinds of diligence, being specific and intentional. And in being shown, we cannot afford to be presumptuous in what we have already attained.

In declaring our ways, we must realize that where we are now is not where we ought to be. When we get to this place, we must not stop journeying. One of the greatest pains of a shepherd is when he sees the flock making progress and, all of a sudden, one turns and says, “I don’t want to continue.” It is very painful because they have come very close to Jesus. Jesus is meticulous in seeing that every soul is catered to. Any soul who wants to turn back and be weary of the journey must sincerely ask himself if he has kept pace with all that has been said and also ask if he faithfully obeyed all the commandments that he has been given.

Psalm 119: 81-82 “81 My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word. 82 Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me…”

If you are getting tired of the word, you are getting tired of what can save you. When the teachings of salvation is coming, the soul tends to always faint because the Lord is bringing a standard that you have not been used to. So if you are fainting when the word is coming, it is not because something is wrong with you; it just reveals a state (Proverbs 24:10). When the giving of salvation is coming, it comes with adversities. We must persevere despite our weariness and faintness.

2 Corinthians 4:15-18 “15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. 16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

When the word of salvation comes, it comes with affliction, not because the Lord enjoys seeing his children “suffer” for our individual definition of suffering is really dependent on where you are standing and our current judgment. But when the word of salvation comes, which is to quicken you, it begins to expose your true state to you. Suffering is when the word of God shows you its own standards, and your soul agrees with it. The ability to disconnect from the needs, situations, and expectations of this world is the suffering of Christ.

When many of us are going through trials and tribulations, we do not accuse God; in the midst of situations, when many of us are raising praises to God, we are dealing with spirits by that response. There must be thanksgiving perpetually in the midst of situations. God is looking for many who will come to that state. It is natural for people to faint in the midst of situations, but as people being raised by God, we should give God praise in all circumstances (2 Corinthians 4:16-18).

When we say things are not working for us, it is because it is not happening the way we expect them to. Often, we compare ourselves to others and start complaining. The attitude of our heart in the midst of suffering is what will determine if our inward man will be renewed day by day. In the wisdom of God, our lives are calibrated through much tribulation to enter into the kingdom.

Our affliction is light! Apostle Paul called it light because of his level of judgment. When we say something is light, it is in relation to another thing. Therefore, the hope of the eternal weight of glory makes the afflictions light. One of the greatest blessings we receive when hearing this word is that an invisible work is going on inside that might not even add to our prosperity in the natural world. Our problem is that blindness has happened to us, thus, we can’t see or comprehend the far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. We must see and believe the Bible. Everything preached to us still feels like fables. Whatever man has invented falls short before the eternal weight of glory. We can’t relate to the promises of God because of our lack of understanding; our thoughts are far from what the Lord is describing to us. So, we need to pray to God to teach us and to measure it for us. A man can finish the race in the days of his flesh (2 Tim 4:6-7).

The problems are things we can see that our souls cleave to. The things that are promised to us are invisible, but we can look at them. It means we can actually look at the things that are not seen. If we cannot see them yet, we should know that it is only hidden from those whose eyes God of this world has blinded their eyes. (2 Corinthians 4:3-4) After opening our eyes, they need to work the instrument of sight in us so we can see the things that are not seen.

TONGUES AND INTERPRETATION (3)

Mercy for thousands

I am a merciful being

Gracious and Merciful

Full of compassion and tender

Saith the Lord,

I have showed mercy

Indeed I have shown mercy

And I do not hold it against you

I only showed you where you need to come up to me

It is mercy

I am stretching forth my hand for to bring you up

For when I show you your infirmities it is not to shame you

It is show you my own heart and where you need to come to

Even for that situation, I kept mercy for you

And indeed I have shown you that mercy

That you can even talk about it

It is a working of my mercy,

You could have chosen to hide it

But It is a working of my mercy

You could have chosen to maintain a face before the people

But it is a working of my mercy

For indeed you are saying it for people

who feel that they would have done better than that

But it is a mercy that I showed for you

And I kept mercy for thousands of generations for them that fear me

You see that feeling, that broken heartedness, that is worship to me

For many step on my toes without even blinking

For many step on my toes without even caring

Many grieve me and have no form of remorse.

That remorse means a lot to me

That remorse I value it

That remorse is really worship

That is you giving me worship

I kept mercy for you

And indeed I brought you higher

You are not in that place again

I beckoned to you

And you have responded

Saith the Lord, I would continue to bring you up

For I giveth grace to the humble

I resist the proud

I have given grace

I seat on the throne of grace

For you obtain grace when you come to me

Find grace to help you even in time of need

Saith the Spirit

TONGUES AND INTERPRETATION (4)

Consider the eagles,

I gave the eagles those eyes

To see beyond the clouds

To see at a far distance

How much more I that made the eagles

Even if you make your bed in hell I see you

Even if you cover yourself in darkness I see you

There is no part of your soul that is hidden to me

I made the eagle for to show you that I the creator nothing is hidden

For all things are naked before my eyes

There for fear, you cannot cover sin and proser

For the things you expose to light are the things that I reprove

But I see them, so it is my admonition for all who can hear,

Who can pay attention

Do not just desire to keep a face before your brethren

Do not just desire to keep a face before my servant

I see it and be desirous that it be judged

For nothing is truly hidden

God is not mocked

Whatever a man soweth he would reap

For indeed saith the Lord, I want to judge every recess of darkness

Fear because I see more than the things

Than the things you are trying to cover

I see beyond

I see the things you are not seeing

Fear, call unto me, and I will show you great and marvelous things.

Message Continues…

There is an attitude of the heart of those who are looking for things that are not seen. When we don’t get the instructions of the Lord right, He should be able to rebuke us, and we should not strive with the Lord. While we strive for perfection, we shouldn’t conclude ourselves when we have fallen (Prov 24:16). The Holy Ghost should be able to rebuke us immediately on an issue. We should be easily entreated. It gives God hope that He can save us. Even when we might not be able to see the eternal hope yet, the equipment we need to see it is already being provided. We should keep checking ourselves because that is one way we can respond to God.

Psalm 119:65-67 “65 Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O Lord, according unto thy word. 66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments. 67 Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word”

When there’s no affliction, the tendency to be a stray dog is in us; there won’t be control. Without afflictions, we could be like a city without walls; anything goes in and out (2 Peter 2:22). Afflictions can be tribulations, trials, or pressures. When the Lord permits them, it is for entrance into the kingdom of God (Acts 14:22).

Psalm 119:71 “It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes”

It takes an understanding, a great breakthrough, and victory to see and say that it is good that there was affliction. The faith that says affliction is good is the faith of our Lord Jesus. We don’t go through tribulations blindly!!! Statutes must be at work. When afflictions come, by the calculation of Satan and evil spirits, it is to bring us down. It is for us to withdraw our allegiance from God. (Job 2:9). We shouldn’t say to God, “Why me?” when we are going through trials. Saying that means we believe that God is not a good father who can raise His children.

Hebrews 12:9-10For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness” God permits trials, but he doesn’t initiate them. God will not stop some things from happening to us because He has an agenda. God would instead use it for our salvation. When things happen to us, we should pray first and confirm that it is suffering permitted by the Lord. We should not be quick to generalize it as suffering from the Lord. 2 Corinthians 12:8-98 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me”. If it is suffering permitted by the Lord, we will have to go through the cycle with thanksgiving. When tribulations come, our natural disposition reacts because it is not joyous at that time. Hebrews 12:11, Job 1:22 – It takes power not to charge God foolishly in the face of tribulations. To contend with spirits is to hold our ground in God in the face of contrary situations.

The end of affliction doesn’t promise the delivery of what we initially lacked. It is to work a peaceful fruit of righteousness and patience, James 1: 2-42 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing”. We are on a journey, and God has an agenda, so he needs to use tribulations to save us. Otherwise, only good things should happen to good people (Psalm 73:3-9; 17). It is from where you are standing that our judgment is always wrong. If the Psalmist had not entered the sanctuary, he would not have understood their end. The sanctuary is a place of judgment/understanding, not a physical place of worship. Until we inquire of God for comfort in our trials, we will continue to accuse God wrongly.

2nd Chronicles 16:9a—God is always watching and looking for our obedience to him.

Psalms 119: 72 “The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver” For a man to say the law of God is better than silver and gold, it means he has been successfully quickened from dust. It means silver and gold, though given to him, will not become his life. This is a hard saying, but affliction is good.

Hebrews 11: 15 – 16 “15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. 16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city” This people came to see value in the life God is giving to them and they begin to desire something “a better country”. 2 Peter 3: 12-14 “12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless” There is a posture of looking for and desiring in all these verses. Hebrews 9: 28 “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation” When we say the coming of the Lord, it is through doctrine. In the Spirit, it is hard to judge where an individual is; however, we must all maintain consistency in seeking and looking for the Lord. Looking for the Lord means you are not satisfied with your state; you always feel inadequate, that you are not measuring up, not unto condemnation, but an accurate appraisal of your state. Paul said he that thinketh he stands take heed lest he falls 1st Corinthians 10:12. Every time you make an adjustment and obey commandments of the Lord in scripture and of the Spirit, you are looking for the coming of the Lord. The state of people looking for is to look for the pleasure and preference of the Lord to do it in all situations. To be in a state of perpetual waiting is to look for. Heb 9: 28

Matthew 24: 37-39 ”37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” Noah obeyed God despite all the contradictions. Noah was mocked and ridiculed in his time as people went about their normal business. In our generation, many are not aware of the invisible. Everyone is just living a natural life, and many things are happening. There is an agenda of God amid the activities.

Matthew 24: 42-46 “42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. 45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing” The faithful servant was found doing something; he was very aware. The faithful servant will not stop doing his natural activities, but in addition to all that, he is doing extra by looking for. The Lord is coming all the time, and he is only coming to those who are looking for him. So what manner of Christians and persons ought we to be? The Lord is coming and taking stock, looking at the work in progress, our journeying and the progress we are making.

Hebrews 11:39 “And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise; 40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect” Whatever stage we are in our Christian walk, we must strive to keep what God has committed unto us and use it to gain a higher estate. Every commandment and instruction given to you at any level is your walk is resources for a higher estate. Anytime the Lord comes to us, judgment comes, more understanding comes, and our sight is opened. We must always be repenting, turning according to the Lord’s instructions, and thus we’ll always be found looking for the Lord.
