Meeting: Season of the Spirit (Day 1)

Date: 02 Feb, 2025
Message: Lovewalk Unto Eternal Life

Minister:           Rev. (Mrs) Helen Oyegoke.

(1 Peter 1:9-12)“Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. [10] Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: [11] Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. [12] Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.”

We are in the season of Everlasting life which is the season of the salvation which God had promised. We need to come to a place of desiring these things the way we have previously desired earthly attainments and accomplishments. We must look into these things with an equal or even stronger desire than the angels who desire to look into these things but it was not given to them but to us. (Titus 1:2)“In hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the ages began.” – We were born again and quickened in our spirit for this sole reason – to enquire and search diligently so we can lay hold on the promise of Eternal life. (Deut 33:27) God is both the True God and Eternal God or the Everlasting God and the Eternal God. While they both refer to the same person they are different divisions and functions of Him.

(John 17:1-5) The hour for Jesus came for Him to be glorified by His walk. Jesus had attained unto Everlasting life before He asked for this glory, He had finished the work God gave Him to do. God desires to glorify us with Himself just like He did with Jesus but we also must journey or walk to call for the hour of our glorification.

(John 17:5) – “And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.” What was this glory? Why is Jesus asking for it now if he had it before?

(John 1:1-3) “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

Jesus was asking for the Eternal Glory which He had in the beginning before the world was. If He was the Eternal God before the world was, He was asking for this kind of Glory. Everlasting life is the light of men, it is the light all men ought to live by (John 1:4). The everlasting division of God is the one that interfaces with the realm of creation. (Isa 40:28, 2 Cor. 6:16) The desire of God is that we can inherit Him, that He can dwell in us, this is why He wants to build in us the stature of a man that He can dwell in. This is the promise of the gospel. 2 Cor 6:16 is not a promise to be claimed but it is more a prophetic declaration over us and there is a process we must go through to come into this promise. These declarations are “I will” to show it is futuristic.

(Heb. 2:6-10, Phil. 2:7-10) We must not toy with these promises. What Jesus did cost Him all that He was. He removed His Everlasting and Eternal essence for us to be saved. He was made a man and grew up under the care of Joseph and Mary. God is looking to work with weak men like Joseph who will obey Him sheepishly.

(Luke 2:40, 2:52) Jesus grew in knowledge, wisdom, and stature and discerned the voice of the Father early. He could tell He had a Father that was not Joseph. As parents and guardians, we need to be particular about what we feed our children/ward with. We should expose them to the atmosphere of the spirit, to the Bible, to the church of God, rather than exposing our children to unrestricted social media and demon-backed technologies that do not build up or edify our kids.

Jesus obeyed all the commandments of God. He remained subject to His parents. He was raised as He obeyed the Father. The Father communicated His things via knowledge to the Son and He obeyed in all things. This generation is being taught to not follow the steps of Jesus. We must desire to come to a place like Jesus where He had no will of His own but only did what the Father did.

(Matt. 7:22) “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?” The work of the Father is not healing the sick nor raising the dead, it is the work of doing righteousness. Jesus came to show man that He can be raised from being made lower than angels to being made so much better than the angels. God has different levels of righteousness and judgment. Judgments are the thoughts of God, they are His standards, they are the things God considers right. An Everlasting man is a man configured with the righteousnesses of God. It will take an Everlasting man to call for Eternal glory. This man cannot turn, He has become True. The realm of everlasting life is a realm of salvation where a man has been fully built. It’s a realm where a man cannot be tempted anymore, such a one has crossed the realm of men into the realm of God and cannot be susceptible to what hinders men.

(Rom. 6:22)“But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.”

The revelation of God’s righteousness (Christ) makes us free from sin. We have to be made free from sin to be made servants to God. To be servants of God is to be servants to everlasting righteousness which we do by obeying His commandments. Eternal life will remain foolishness to a man who has not been made free, he would not be able to see it nor can he understand it – “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (1 Cor. 2:14)

(1 Pet. 1:15-16) As we obey God, we are being made holy; for He is Holy. There is a holiness in Christ and a higher level of holiness in Everlasting life that we come into as we obey the righteousnesses (or righteous standards of God) revealed (Rom. 1:17). The realm of Christ doesn’t have the fullness of holiness to receive Eternal Life. The holiness in Christ can be corrupted but the holiness in Everlasting life cannot be undone. We are in the season of perfecting holiness in the fear of God and we cannot come to the place of perfecting holiness if we haven’t been doing things that will make us holy.

(1 John 5:20) We should not be too quick to claim that we are in Him or that we have Eternal life but it’s a call for us to come into Him. It’s a call to be made true so we can come into Him that is true by His revelations unto us.

The Everlasting God has both the LIVING and TRUE divisions in Him. It is through obedience that we come into both measures of His life! Everlasting life will configure in us an everlasting body so that we can receive the gift of Eternal life. Eternal life cannot be given to a man who still has sin and death in him – For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23). It can only be given to a man who has life and holiness configured in him. This is why we must obey everlasting righteousness to deal with the nature of Satan that has caked in our souls which Christ alone cannot deal with.

Everlasting life is a sealing life that is void of corruption, with this life, you can’t be tempted because you don’t have what it takes to be tempted anymore – 12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.” (Psalm 103:12). This can only happen when we grow to God’s realm of thoughts and reason like/with Him. (Isaiah 1:18). Our sins being as scarlet typifies that this sin goes deep into blood, into the very nature of man. It is ingrained in our way of life, in fact, most times it is inherited from our parents. This is why another blood needs to be introduced to us – the blood of Christ to begin our cleansing from sin. We need to cooperate with God by coming up in judgment to reason with/like Him.

This scarlet nature of sin worked in us by Satan is what shuts us out from the life of God. They’re our unholiness and unrighteousness but God has promised Eternal life to us, He wants to give us everlasting essence, so, He is bent on removing these scarlet natures.

We need to believe that our natures can change. The Lord has made enough provision to purge us clean and white as the snow. This purging will be done with the blood of the Son – the Everlasting and the Eternal Son. The end of doing righteousness will be that we become holy and inherit Everlasting life (Romans 6:22) and the reward of becoming Everlasting is the gift of Eternal life.

(Hebrews 5:1-6) The Son of God is the High Priest and He is also God. He comes to men with things pertaining to God. The understanding the High Priest comes with can only be given to men in the sanctuary who have been made Priests. These are men who have put away childish things and have become Priests.

God wants to raise many High priests like Jesus who can minister understanding to men so they can grow up. Highpriests are men who have crossed into the most holy place and the word of God is the tool for raising such men. Men must be consistently taught the word of God or the incorruptible word i.e. both the living and true (abiding) words to be raised (1 Pet. 1:23).

(Heb 2:1-3)“Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. 2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;

3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;”

We will attain unto the stature of the True God by His speakings and by doing/obeying them. Just as there is a reward for obedience, there is equally a reward for disobeying the words being spoken unto us. The Son has come to give us an understanding, and that understanding will come through speaking. What the Son of God is speaking is Salvation. He is speaking what made Him, He is bringing to us the things of the Living and True God that will make us free from sin (True) and that will seal us against sin. The high priest brings the things of God and takes away our things.

By understanding being ministered to us, they reveal to us our things (wrong natures) and show us a new way: they show us the things of God and replace His things/natures with our own things. For example, if you are prone to shouting at people, God can begin to give such a soul instructions in gentleness.

Understanding changes our thoughts, thoughts become ways and our ways will influence our conversations or how we live our life because we become what we do over time. This is why we need to be careful what we indulge ourselves in. (1 John 3:7) It is he that doeth righteousness that becomes righteous. On the opposite side, if we do what is wrong over time, we will become evil. Rev. Hagin said when we do something wrong overtime, evil spirits can interfere and take dominion over it making it a nature in such a person’s soul

(1 John 5:20) The first step we need to take in doing righteousness is by learning Christ through His substances that are revealed to us by the Holy Spirit, and teachings, after the new birth experience. Christ’s substances end in fervent charity, i.e. a man who has done fervent charity has learned Christ. From this point, the incorruptible is being introduced to him so he can learn Everlasting life. The endpoint of the incorruptible being given to us is for us to live and eventually abide in God. This shows our readiness for Eternal life.

(1 John 1:1-3) It takes processes for us to inherit Eternal life. To be a handler of the word of life, we first need to give ourselves to hearing, then ways are revealed to us, afterward, we start to do the ways of God through understanding, finally, these ways become our very life when we have done them so well. This is when we can eventually claim to be witnesses because we have become the very thing we do. This is why the son of God can declare the things of God (True & Eternal things of God) because He has become a witness of that life and has inherited all the fullness of God. He is now declaring the things that made Him so that we can all come into fellowship with God.

(1 John 2:24)“Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.”

Things abide when we keep them and do them. In this instance, the Son of God can only abide in us when His things abide in us after He has declared them to us (John 14:19-21). Upon hearing these things that have been declared, we must do and keep them. These things are judgements and ways of the beginning that we shouldn’t joke with.

If we don’t abide in these things, we’ll give room for Satan to abide in us through his own things: envy, jealousy, anger, malice, etc. He’ll do all this just to put his reasoning and thoughts in us. Satan wants our sin to remain as red as scarlet, but God wants to heal us of the thoughts of Satan with His own thoughts. When God gives us His own thoughts, we should not hold on to the thoughts of Satan, we must quickly let it go.

In submitting to God’s thoughts, we might appear weak or foolish to our fellow men. The thoughts of God may actually look foolish, but they are healing us, hence we must drop our thoughts and that of Satan to take the thoughts of God. Yes, accepting the thoughts of God makes us look weak and defeated, but this is just the Lord working meekness in us, which is actually the strength of the Lord. In fact, the highest form of holiness is meekness. A meek man is a holy man. A holy man is a meek man who is lowly and doesn’t have anything to flaunt or lose. This is God’s standard.

The life of God is not for the strong in the flesh. People who are strong in the flesh have been weakened in the spirit by Satan. The instructions of the Lord that make us look weak are for our growth – the more we do them, the better we get at doing them. Preachings, teachings, dealings, leading of the spirit, and subjective arrangements in the natural are the ways they’ll arrange to input the life of God in us. We have to be given to these things to get the life of God. When we hear them and do them, we will appreciate in life, then we’ll become true beings and be sealed in them.

(1 John 3:8-24) What we heard from the beginning that is to abide in us is fervent love towards our brother. This is the highest form of charity and there are judgments and learnings that will be given to teach us to love this way. The point of this conversation is to make you understand that the realm of everlasting life is the realm of high love, higher than charity.

This is the season of perfecting love. God will be teaching us high love in this season. God is demanding that we love the way God loves. How does He love? “…not that we love him, but that he loved us and gave his life for us. (1 John 4:10) God showed us His love by laying down His life for us, so we in turn should lay down our lives for our brethren (1 John 4:19; 1 Thes. 4:9). This is the standard of God from the beginning. We should love in deed and in truth, not just in word of mouth.

(1 John 5:14-15) The everlasting realm is the realm of easy answering to all our prayers because having known His will and having done His will, we will have the confidence to ask Him whatsoever and it shall be done unto us. It is to our advantage that we race into Everlasting life by obeying commandments.

We cannot confess our way into the True God; the only way we can enter the True God is by keeping His standards of life, which can only be known by the revelation of His knowledge. Knowledge is given to fetch commandments. We must not joke about these things. God is fortifying us against the things that are coming ahead. Things of the True God are not the things of men. They catapult a man and raise him above the realm of men into the realms of God. Christ gives us the things of the earth of the world to come. The things of the True God are not earthly, they are the materials of the heavens of the world to come. When we come into these things, the present earth will be under our subjection.

When God proclaimed to Jesus “Thy throne O God”, He was referring to Jesus who has come into the True and Eternal state of God. The Son of God brings an understanding so we can partake of the True God and Eternal life. It is so that we can become and inherit their life and not to vaunt. We cannot inherit them without understanding. Their understanding will raise us and make us true. Without the raising of everlasting life, we cannot be qualified for the reward of Eternal life. Everlasting life is the life of overcoming sin and iniquity. Everlasting life redeems us from amongst men, we will no longer reason like men but reason like God, think like God, and behave like God. Judgment will make us behave like God.

(1 John 2:6) Jesus walked, and we ought also to walk. We walk as we keep His commandments and as we walk in His commandments, we walk into Him. This season gives us an opportunity to walk differently by the understanding that is given to us. True walk will be ushered unto us in this season because of the understanding of the True God, and as we walk, we will become.

(1 John 4:10, Romans 5:6) In this season, we should strive to love as God loves – this kind of love is higher than charity. When we love higher than charity, we will love even when it is not reciprocal. We should strive to love the unlovable, we should strive to even die for the brethren if it is required.

We cannot talk about God without talking about His love: He is love. We are entering the zone of high love in the realm of love. This is how we can claim to know God, it has to reflect in our love walk. He that knows God should love and he that loves knows God. Love is the essence of God. Knowing God will make us as a people to love. Everlasting life and Eternal life is love. It is the zone and realm of love. The more of God we know will make us able to love more.

“15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.” (1 John 3:15) This shows us that Eternal life and love go hand in hand, while hatred and death are together. We must desire that our judgment in love will abide more and more in this season. Love is the way. The summation of the Son is love. The True God is love. We should make up our minds to pass from death unto love by our love for our brethren.

The benefit of this season is a change of your nature to the nature of the Son of God.
