Thank you for the many seasons and years that we have gone through together
Thank you for holding forth
For the many times you hold forth is because you loved and feared me
Thank you for when your desire is for me to reign
Thank you for laying down your life for my sake
Thank you for laying down everything at my feet
Thank you for saying bye to worldly promises
You are precious to me
You’re one of a kind
For the kind of love that you bestowed
For the way you love me
I’ve not had many like this that love and gave many for me
As your Lord I say thank you
I hear the demands of your heart
I see the the inspirations of your soul

Message Begins
A man should live for God – “15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.” (2 Corinthians 5:15) It is your duty to live for him who died and rose again.
(Titus1:1) – “Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness.” There is a truth that makes every man godly which every man must acknowledge.
Godliness is a prerequisite in realising the hope of Eternal life. Eternal life is the very essence of His being, God’s own very life, and we should give all our life to get it. The prerequisite is to live soberly, righteously and godly.
Having been quickened on earth, the new birth is not for exploits on the earth but for the Kingdom. The kingdom is one level of life to another level of life. (1 John 3:2-3) – “2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.” The hope of God appearing to us is for us to be like Him. The way you live shows what you are looking for – so does your manner of life show that you’re looking for the appearance of God?
You don’t know this hope until your eyes of understanding have been enlightened. When your eyes have been enlightened you hope begins to change – “13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.” (Titus 2:13) The great God is our saviour. The appearance of God is to save us. To save us so that we can become eligible for Eternal Life. It is everlasting life that can call for Eternal Life.
(Ephesians 1:15-17) – “15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.” The doctrine of Christ are the laws that frame Christ. There is a process that Christ’s words are meant to achieve in you which can not be done in one day. Without enlightened eyes you don’t know Hope.
(1 Corinthians 15:19) – “19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.” The more your eyes of understanding are enlightened the better grasp you have. What energises us to align with what God is saying is because you have a better understanding of what hope is. Hope changes your direction. All of us were born to hope for this world. When they begin to open your eyes, you do things differently, you begin to hope differently. Then what you see informs how you walk. If not, vanity would always have a serious weight on your soul. (2 Corinthians 4:18) – “18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” (Ephesians 1:18) – “18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.” (Isaiah 11:3) – “3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears.” You can’t heal a person of worldly lusts except their eyes of understanding have been enlightened. The learning of Christ brings a different direction. Darkened understanding separates one from the life of God.
How is blindness healed? It is healed through teachings – “21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus.” – (Ephesians 4:21). The truth in Christ Jesus is the truth after godliness. The truth is able to make you godly. When you walk in it, when you obey it, you become godly. Godliness can’t be attained except the truth that is after godliness is taught – “16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” (Romans 1:16) Truth is meant for godliness.
The gospel of Christ prepares me for salvation. Faith comes by revelation of righteousness, revelation by truth. The just is to live by what is revealed. (Romans 8:2) – “2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” Another name for holiness is godliness. Made free is to be raised.
A godly man is a building. A holy man is a raised man. There is a prescribed life a man is meant to live and it is strictly by revelation. The Just begin to live when the eyes of their understanding are enlightened. The more you grow, the more sensitive you become to the leading of Christ – Jesus loved a prescribed life.
God wants us to be raised in this season. (Psalm 1:1) – “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.” There is a blessing for godliness. Godliness is profitable in all things – “8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.” (1 Timothy 4:8) The law of the Lord is the law of Christ – “2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” (Psalm 1:2-3) “…he shall be,” means “he shall become” – to become is to be raised, to be built. I am being built as I do.
The danger of ungodliness is that you dry up because you are not gaining life. To dry up spiritually is to lack interest in spiritual things, not panting for spiritual things.
The counsel of God does not suit your feelings every time, the counsel of God would change you. To be godly you would appear foolish. The counsel of God makes a man foolish but if it is from God, so do it, it has reward because it would prevent you from turning into a chaff. To avoid being a chaff, you need to walk in the counsel of God. What is right is that you are meek and lowly at heart. Godly counsel would make you meek and low. Wisdom from above is pure, peaceable, gentle, full of mercy and good fruit. – “17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.” (James 3:17)
In marriage, a wise woman would come down. A godly woman is a meek woman, she is always under her husband. To gain life as a Godly woman, you need to walk in the counsel of the godly. (Romans 8:13) – “13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.” Understanding would save you from dying. (Psalm 1:5) – “5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.” Ungodly does not have a part in the Judgement where everlasting life is given. The ungodly can not receive the appearance of the great God.
Do righteousness to the point of peace. It pays to be godly. (Romans 5:1) – “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” To be justified is being made right and it is by faith – this faith is ministered by the revelation of Christ.
To be holy is to be right. When you are not holy, you are wrong. To be holy, you need to obey righteousness revealed. To obey faith is to obey righteousness revealed. What would make you right is in Christ Jesus, the truth in Christ Jesus. Revelation of Christ takes you to redemption. Do righteousness unto peace. A charity man is a peace man, a man who would not struggle with God. Righteous living raises you.
How do you live righteously? You live righteously by yielding to righteous things. Don’t live your life by feelings but by what God says. What is the voice of the spirit saying at every point in time? Evil spirits bring wrong counsels. Do what God says is right and it would always bring you to a safe haven. What you do is what you become. – “7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.” (1 John 3:7) It takes diligence to adhere to what is right. What is right is low. The reason they are teaching us righteousness is to do right in the place of pleasure. Judgement is everlasting life.
(2 Corinthians 3:3-8) – “3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. 4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: 5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; 6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. 7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: 8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?”
The New Testament is ministration of spirits. There is no glory if there is no change within us, change of our configuration, a change into the nature that God brings. The new testament is everlasting righteousness but godliness is the foundation.
(Hebrews 2:10-12) – “10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. 11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, 12 Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.”
Those who have been sanctified are those who have used Christ’s righteousness. (2 Corinthians 3:9-18) – “9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. 10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. 11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. 12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: 13 And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: 14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. 15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
Hope is glory that comes from the declaration of everlasting righteousness. Righteousness paints an image. ‘Change’ and ‘glory’ are image building. Everlasting righteousness comes to delete sin, it comes to remove wrong formation. Your change is your growth. You can’t be reconciled without things. Nobody can acquire everlasting life without the input of the high priest.
Be careful what you yield to. – “19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. 20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. 21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. 22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:19-23) The end of iniquity is death which is separation from God. Don’t joke with unrighteousness. The end of yielding to everlasting righteousness is to have everlasting life. You must have everlasting life to get the reward of Eternal Life. If you are a Christian that is living unrighteously, you would end up dying. (Psalm 45:7) – “7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.” Remove yourself from the ungodly by walking differently. Choose life by obeying righteousness.
