Meeting: Season of the Spirit (Day 6)
Date: 9 March, 2025
Message: Purging from idol fellowship in the realm of the True God
Minister: Pastor Emeka Egwuchukwu
There is a need to thank God for our community, not because we feel special but because of the liberation we are experiencing through the word of righteousness. There is a generation arising, a generation that has learned the ordinances, precepts, commandments, and statutes of God and not dos and don’ts. This generation cannot be moved regardless even when told otherwise about the hope of the gospel because of this God trusts them with seats of power.
We need a proper understanding of our journey to apply ourselves to wisdom. Wisdom is the person of our Lord Jesus. (Psalms 90:12) – “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” This wisdom is the wisdom unto salvation not just every other wisdom that does not point a man towards salvation.
(2 Tim. 3:15) – “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” – To know the Holy scriptures is to know the precepts and the lines of it for the purpose of salvation. The essence of the tireless labour to accurately divide scriptures is so that a people can be saved well, so that we can breakthrough into salvation.
To have a community of believers that want to know the True God and Eternal life is a breakthrough in church and it brings rejoicing to the heart of the Father. This theme (The True God and Eternal Life) is unlike what the world usually gravitates towards i.e things that are usually around earthly breakthrough and prosperity of natural life.
(Acts 19:20) – “So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.” The word that grew in Ephesus is not the one that gives men breakthrough in the natural because men were already prospering back then, it was the word of salvation. This is the word that can bring spirits down (in this case Diana), words that can displace a prince. The only thing that will hit the enemy directly is that a people have escaped him by the word that was given to them and this is worth giving thanks. This word will first prevail in our home, in our life, in our family and then in the nation.

Future..Even my future
I’m seeing a future
Even a future of people…Men, women, children even in their numbers walking even by the light of the word I’m giving to them, even not the light of the sun or the light of the moon but the light of God and the lamb.
For they have warred down the dragon and narrowly look at him and say is this the man that troubleth the earth
This is the future of the things I’m speaking to you and it is nearer to you that when you first believed.
Even as you listen, even as you obey, even as you walk, that future that I have in me and the father, I see it coming nearer in the days of your flesh on the earth.
I am seeing that future coming
Even men will trample upon him, even men will walk upon him
I’m seeing him who troubleth the earth and they have been given resistance even against the dragon
It is a future of men, women, children, every tribe that have escaped even the reach of the dragon
This is the future I’m speaking to you
This what we look at and bring investment of words upon the earth
This is what we see and send ministering spirits upon the earth
I want you to begin to see this future in your heart and you will not relent and you will keep walking
For that future surely will come in the days of your flesh on the earth

(1 John 5:18-21) John focused on the things of the Father while pointing toward eternal life. As he concluded this epistle, he addressed idols. The “little children” mentioned here refer to those who have embraced Christ and have crossed into everlasting life.
Faith, hope, and charity—the expression of Christ’s life are commandments, and commandments bring life. God has ordained that all nations to obey faith first, as it leads to hope and charity.
When we see commandment, know that life is being given to us because that’s the vehicle through which God transmits life. So lacking in commandment means retrogressing in life spiritually even if you are progressing physically. It is possible to progress physically but not take steps spiritually. Our journey begins with faith—the first step in life—followed by hope and charity. From there, we progress to the Father, whose commandments lead to life everlasting (John 12:50) – “And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.” Jesus was taught by the Father. He did not just happen but journeyed with precepts and with lines. This reflects how things can be done in our life.
(1 John 1:1-5) John’s epistle is specifically to men (little children) who have crossed to everlasting life. In verse 5, John is describing the life of the Father. Everlasting life, which is the life within the curriculum of the Father, is also Eternal life though not full Eternal life. “That Eternal life” in verse 2 is that Eternal life that was with the Father which was the manifestation of the True God. The full measure of the True God will begin to point us towards Eternal life. You can’t get to the True God and not see Eternal life.
In the mystery of the Father, there are two realms: the Living and the True God. The understanding of the Living God is what will purge us from idols.
There are different definitions of what idols mean in the realm of Christ and the realm of the Father. Idols are not the traditional idols men used to and still do worship. Those things don’t exist at all; they are just superstitious. Apostle Paul said in 1 Cor. 8:4 that idols are nothing in this world. The light of the milk of the word of Christ will take care of these because it will wash us. When we talk about idols, they are things within not external — idols of achievement which rank higher to a worship of Sango. However, little children have been washed from the idol of achievement for example. Nevertheless, there is an idol Apostle John told little children to keep themselves from and that idol is Self. This is the greatest of all idols. (2 Thes. 2:4) This is what the beast has. All other idols (ambition, fame, money) serve this particular idol. See Nebuchadnezzar, for example: Is this not Babylon ‘my hands’ (self) has built. The greatest idol that the light of everlasting life will unveil is self.
We won’t understand how grievous this idol is until we come to the light of the living God or until we come to the place of opportunities and privileges. While the understanding of the living God will purge us from idols, it is not enough because you can forget or turn back.
(2 Pet 1:9) – “For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.”
Abounding talks about the world of everlasting which is actually Christ being made to abound because Everlasting life is Christ made everlasting. It is Christ that is made everlasting — stretched, elastic where He can’t break no matter the pressure/grade of sin. The light of the living God x-rays more than the light of Christ x-rays. As you journey, you see sin from grade to grade until iniquity which the most holy light reveals. The man of iniquity has the secrets/mysteries which are precepts and lines of iniquity and this is why he can teach men how to die a second death. Every life has its secret and it must be revealed to embody it.
So the light of the living God purges from idols but the understanding of the true God makes you a keeper because after you’ve been purged, you are not expected to go back. One thing about self is that it can make you forget who you are. Constantly admitting that you are nothing helps you puncture balloons of pride and bloated ego that fallen spirits inflate men with. Don’t ever say ‘Do you know who I am?’. It might not mean anything to us at a particular growth stage but as we climb up, we are required to not say such things. This statement is iniquity and will never be tolerated in the most holy place.
Truth be told, there is no occupation that is void of spirit because all occupation came as a result of the fall. It is only ‘Priesthood’ that was before the fall because Adam was a priest. This was the occupation of Adam and should have been ours. Due to the fall and earthly professions being an offshoot of the fall, fallen spirits can use them legally. It is only God that knows how these professions are to be used to not injure the souls of men as we practice them. Professions are created to turn our souls to be children of wrath if handled without the light of Christ. In doing them without the light of Christ, we can turn to a devil.
The realm of the true God is where we are taught covenant, testament, testimony, spirit and life. The zone of the true God is the zone of blood. In all the realms – Christ, living, True, these are common: building and putting of law (spirit).
(Exodus 20:4) – “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.”
The only self (image) that should be seen in the most holy is God. No other self is needed. God must be the only self. (John 17:5) – “And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.” – ‘glorify thou me with thine own self is asking for God’s image and ‘the glory I had’ is His Spirit which is the likeness. “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.” (John 17:21-23). When God looks at us, He wants to see nothing else but Himself, that all of us are one
Before we can arrive at Eternal life, there is a need to understand our Christian journey. At new birth, it is only the milk allocation of God’s word that we can resolve or understand. Our christian journey is similar to our natural journey – “When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” (1 Cor. 13:11). After our spirit is regenerated, we’re fed with spiritual milk that grows “milk teeth.” As we mature, these fall off just like in the natural signaling that God wants to shift us into higher things hence the need for us to be weaned from milk and drawn from the breast (Isa. 28:9). A believer might find in this season that things that worked before in the milk season of feeding might not work again.
(Heb. 5:13-14) There are things the milk teeth or temporary teeth cannot crack – bones/solids or in essence meat and strong meat of the word of God. These are things of Christ and the Father; Christ (meat) being the allocation for those who are matured and Father/Everlasting life (strong meat) the allocation to those who are fully matured. If we do not properly progress in our growth and/or journey, everlasting life which is strong meat might be hard for some to crack.
(1 John 5:20) The realm of the only True God is the realm of Eternal. John 17:3 is a type of prayer that no man has ever prayed before and to pray this prayer we need an understanding. The “Only True God” is a higher understanding which is the understanding of the Eternal God. We need this understanding to access this realm.

This is the only secret, this is the only thing hidden
Many understandings have been known, many have been revealed but this is the only one hidden, this is the only one made secret.
It is so distant from the realm of men, it is highly consecrated
Only mercy can grant entrance.
So when you begin to hear these things see mercy at work
For you didn’t find your way here by your own work or ability, it is mercy at work
This is the only big secret, this is the only matter greatly concealed
For I am bringing honour by mercy
For it is mercy that is searching it out
Don’t be familiar with this secret.
This is the secret of the Father so tread carefully, tread with caution not with confidence.
Don’t believe in yourself
It is a holy secret.
Holy most holy secret
So see mercy
Regard this mercy
It’s mercy.
This beckoning is mercy. This entrance is mercy.
For many desire to push their way
But only mercy can grant entrance
So be grateful for mercy
For it is the only secret.

The understanding of the only True God and Eternal life will be defined better and clearer to us as the light shines brighter and brighter (Prov. 4:18).
The realm of the True God is the realm of incorruptibility. Incorruptibility is in and with the True God. In this realm, you become incorruptible by the light you’re using. To be incorruptible is to be void of self. Self is our person.
There are some things we can’t be taught or that won’t open up to us if we don’t fulfil obedience. For every realm that is opened to us, it means we are cutting covenant. For the covenant to be established, God will lay certain demands on us for us to be established. Once a covenant is established, we come into certain graces and ease concerning certain matters that some men will pray and fast for days for or labour tirelessly to get.
(Rev. 1:5) – “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved.” – Jesus is both Faithful and True. This realm is where you get The Only True God. No one has been able to trap God successfully like the Son. He trapped all of God so that the promises of God in Him will be ‘Yea and Amen’. This is why we can’t get anything outside of Jesus. Jesus in John 17:3 is not Jesus of Nazareth. It’s the same Jesus as a man but with different lights. Little wonder his disciples at Emmaus had known Him after an order but could not discern the resurrected Jesus (Luke 24:13-35). (Luke 24:45) “Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures” – There are things or aspects of the person of Jesus that we will not understand unless we are given understanding. Luke 24:45 shows us that there’s no realm we will get to that we won’t need scriptures because even after staying with Jesus for three and half years, these men still needed to be shown to understand the scriptures.
Jesus trapped all the lights of God successfully even to the realm of eternal. It is this Jesus that God gave us — the only begotten Son (John 3:16). The essence of this giving is to bring man back to His original intention which is to give man Eternal life. The realm of eternal is a selfless realm not a realm of self. Even God does not live for Himself. He is on the throne for us not Himself.
One would wonder why God chose to give man, who is the least interested being, eternal life. This same man is more interested in vanities that will glorify his ‘self’ and not in the invisible things of God. Whereas what Jesus is handling are the things that are not seen that are Eternal (2 Cor. 4:18).
The invisible God is a God that a man will claim he has seen but has not even seen Him. God wants to bring us to a place where we can see and comprehend Him. Scripture says that ‘He that thinks he is wise should be foolish’ so when we want to comprehend God, we must be ready to be foolish to be made wise.
(1 Tim. 6:15-16) – “Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto.”
The realm of ONLY is the Eternal realm and immortality here is not that we don’t die as some perceive it to be. Only the man who has trapped everlasting life can understand how to comprehend and honor God at this level. Why God is opening this thing to us is because we are close to the end and by God’s grace, we will overcome. We can’t hear these things and remain the same. The zeal of the Lord will perform it. Amen!
THE END.
