Message: Doing the measurement of the Most Holy
Minister: Pastor Laide Olaniyan
1st Tongues & Interpretation
Mighty in your midst
Showing mercy to many.
And I’ll reap the praise of many
I’ve received the praise of many in your midst to grant many entrances and many utterances
And this is the way I respond to the praises I have received
To show you my things in utterances and to grant many entrances
I am coming even in your midst this morning
Many will enter
This door is for many
And many will enter
I will see to it that many will enter for I am mighty in your midst to do this singular work: that many with enter
For I am mighty in your midst
- May it dawn upon us that we’re in the best days of the church – things are more clearer, closer to the end than before. We’re having scriptures fulfilled in our very eyes. We’re the most privileged generation – God in His mercy has put us where we are right now.
- (Matthew 13:16-17) The revelation and understanding we’re getting at this time, God places a premium on them and they’re weighty in the heart of God – in fact, these are God’s blessings to us, better than any riches in the world. This is God’s provision to our lives being aligned under Him.
- Ikorodu is the Nazareth of our time – a place where no one thinks any good thing will come out of. But we are the most privileged people because of the words God is bringing to us. This is not a motivation, this is a proclamation in the spirit. We are a blessed people to be born at this time, at this moment, and to have a proximity with the servants of God, which He has raised for a time as this.
(2 Chronicles 15:1-3) – [1] And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded: [2] and he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you. [3] Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.
- The incidence in this scripture is a connotation of what religion and politics can make people do – raise other gods. The reign of Rehoboam brought about the separation of the ten kingdoms from Israel, this made the Israelites be without God for a long time. Rehoboam raised other gods because he feared he’d lose the allegiance of the people if they kept worshipping God. So, he raised other gods as a means to keep them under his control and subjection.
- Rehoboam is one of such people who see religion as a tool to control people. (Galatians 2:4) There are some who use religion as a means of governing or lording over souls. Such people are higher sons of darkness, they can see what is beautiful in God and use it to their advantage – these people are spots in our feast of charity, while we feast on ourselves. Some people see community life in Christendom, and they see opportunities for self gain only. They are not converted in their hearts but join themselves to us for the opportunities they find. But God will eventually purge such people out like in the days of Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5: 11,13).
- (2 Chronicles 15:1-3) (John 4:22-24) When salvation is not in view, worship is dead. Looking at this timeline in the spirit, what the Israelites and the Samaritans were doing was false worship, their worship was dead because it did not have salvation in view. This applies to us in this present day – a lot of sacrifices can be made, religious routines and rituals can be carried out, however, if salvation is not the intent and motive, everything is false.
- It will not be wrong to say that Israel was not worshipping God again. The ten tribes had instituted another worship in Samaria, against the belief of the Jews. In fact, they didn’t see the true God even though He still provided their needs. So, a believer can be blessed by God, yet not see His true nature because He chose to keep that part of Himself for those who truly seek Him for that.
- For generations, God manifested himself in a sort, but still kept another part of him. There lived a generation of people who had no idea if there was a Living God or True God. The children of Israel also did not see the true God for a long season, they needed to walk with the light that they had.
- A lot of us have no understanding of what the Lord is doing at this time, in this generation. This lack of understanding makes us wander in ignorance and not get what is truly ours in the Lord. We don’t know why the Lord led us to the local assembly we are in, we don’t know the purpose of the local assembly in the body of Christ, we’re just going with the flow.
- (Revelation 9-11) We’re in the days of the 6th angel. God is unearthing things too good to be uttered among us. (Revelation 11: 1-2, 15, 19) God allocates different levels of understanding to us over time as we journey in christendom, and He expects us to move from one level to the other. However, if we refuse to move from a particular level, God knows that the end is corruption, because it’s possible that level of understanding is fueling our carnality.
- The milk of the word is the foundation of our growth, however, God wants us to move to the allocation of the holy place so we’re not overtaken by corruption.
- (Ezekiel 43:10-12) (Revelation 11:19) The measurements being shown in this scripture are the revealing of most holy things. The end of the sixth trumpet is that a people with stature will arise and parktake of the most holy things.
- (Revelation 11:15-19) Immediately after this, a great wonder appeared. This is also significant to these times, because we’re at a point in the history of the church where God is permitting most holy things to be spoken.
- (Ezekiel 43:10-11) The reason is to raise a people who can keep the laws of the Most Holy. Satan has already built a house, that is why they need to show us another house which is the Temple of God. The work of iniquity is a temple that Satan has raised for himself. So, there must be mourning and grieving in our souls to not continue in iniquity. If we do not desire to path with iniquity, we won’t be able to see the details of the work of holiness God wants to do in us. God will not give us the understanding of the most holy, or show its intricate details, until we’re ashamed of our iniquities and desire repentance. We will not understand the speakings of God at this time if we’re not ashamed of our iniquities.
- We can’t see the true God if we don’t have the laws of the true God. We can’t see Him if our heart does not desire His laws. These laws need to be written in our hearts for us to keep them. There are many ordinances around the most holy, and they’re all meant to be done to see the True God. There are commandments to be kept to see the True God, but we won’t know them if we don’t seek them or desire them. These ordinances and commandments must be shown to us by the spirit before we can do them and see the True God.
- For instance, one of the ordinances of Christ is forgiveness, and the literal measurement given was 77×7 times, because it is easy to forgive once and think we have done righteousness.
- God is racing at this time to finish His showing men his mysteries and He has put us as stewards of the things He is speaking. We have to be taught and instructed to be able to do what is measured. But to be taught and instructed, our heart must be inclined in a certain way that desires these ordinances.
- We’re not complicating matters nor are we confused, we’re just carefully partaking in what God is doing in these times. Thus, we are privileged people. We are blessed to hear these things and we should know that God has put us as stewards of these things.
- Finally, there’s an attitude of the heart that we must have when we are around the most holy things – it’s a fearfulness, caution and trembling of the heart. Hearing the most holy things are not for us to share revelations, but for us to handle them with the fearfulness and carefulness of a steward.
- When the high priests enter into the holiest of all, the fear and caution is the reason why his feet are wrapped with chains around to drag him out if at all he dies. This is because if they don’t, his corpse will defile the temple and will bring plague to them. It is with this type of reverence we must approach things of the Most Holy for where we are is a fearful place.
